  1. Throughout history, well-off women held salons for intellectuals or moved their husbands to make things comfortable for them.

Few women were actual self-made movers and shakers.

I see that not much has changed.

  2. Mr. Shapiro views the world through his whiteness lens. He has not been trained in racial classification. There is clearly one full Asian in the picture (easy to spot). And as to probables: one partial Asian (front row) and one partial black, or perhaps Mediterranean (2nd over from Pelosi’s right).
You might also ask: what about the number of trans women? I am guessing the answer is zero, but one or two in the back row are worth investigating.

    1. What’s more disturbing is the lack of professionalism by all of them. Posing for a picture with a politician is disgraceful. Probably not as disgraceful as their “journalism”, but still disgraceful.
Was in the biz once and would never, ever do such a thing.

    2. Huh took me awhile to eventually spot the Asian, although I’m not sure if that was a caterer brought in to help the fill the diversity void or not (?)

Possibly the dogs nanny, they seem close.

    3. After a further and more detailed analysis, the one with the glasses beside Pelosi’s right shoulder should be summoned to report for a full body search to see (literally) if s/he is the token trans woman in the group.

  3. They are all legendary heroines in their minds speaking truth to authority and defending the downtrodden … blech!!! / sarc

  4. This is the time when I remind everyone that the PRIMARY beneficiary’s of all affirmative-action programs are white women. By far.
