  1. And Jutland is one of the windiest places on the planet. If turbines can’t meet a 25% capacity factor there, there’s little hope of them meeting it anywhere else.

    I’ve stopped for lunch in the middle of a Jutland wind farm. It’s about as restful as the tarmac at Heathrow. If we can’t at least get electricity in exchange for blighting the landscape, pureeing avian life, and going into unpayable public debt, what’s the point of all these petulant narcissistic scientifically ignorant teenagers gluing themselves to things?

    Oh right, “because my SUV controls the weather” or something, and a one degree temperature increase over a century is going to destroy the world. But not a one degree temperature DECREASE, evidently, which you might think would be a matter of concern in a barely temperate country that grows wheat to survive.

    BTW When it comes to petulant narcissistic scientifically ignorant teenagers, I prefer them throwing soup on paintings to running my frikkin’ country.

    Whatever happened to trying a small sample first to see if the corporation promises achieved what they were issuing as data?

    This means no lithium ion batteries as the vast majority have synthetic graphite anodes. Synthetic graphite is made from petroleum refining coke.

  6. Imagine you bought a Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock with a rated 807 horsepower … but in reality, it never generated more than 51 hp. Would you be angry? Would you sue? Would you notify the Federal Trade Commission? Because that analogy is mathematically equal to the failed wind factories.

    Why is no one suing these wind power consortiums for FRAUD? Because We The Public have been defrauded.

  16. Lots of wind turbines along Spain SW coast and inland though <50% operating, solar PV and a solar thermal next door to “gas?” plant.
    Booming business for firewood, gas heaters, elec heaters, elec heat pumps.
    Cork, vino, olive oil, cattle, sheep, goats, pork and all the byproducts. No lacking.
    Ikea glassware made in spain shows up in airbnb’s.
