Reuters- Europe braces for mobile network blackouts
Telecoms industry officials say they fear a severe winter will put Europe’s telecoms infrastructure to the test, forcing companies and governments to try to mitigate the impact.
Currently there are not enough back-up systems in many European countries to handle widespread power cuts, four telecoms executives said, raising the prospect of mobile phone outages.

Well, that will finally get Generation Whine’s attention…
Works to the government’s advantage. Shut down telecoms so that protests cannot be organized and blame it on Putin.
Nobody will die from this, either, according to colon, other than eeeevil orcs, of course.
Trump was right, deal with it.
Your WEF masters were successful in getting rid of Trump. Now they want to get rid of Putin. That must be some pretty dense material between your floppy ears that you can’t connect the dots.
Civilization unravels, incrementally.
Gradually, until suddenly.
“You go bankrupt very slowly,
Then you go bankrupt very fast.”
— Stephen Molnyeux
He also quoted another one of my favorites. “When a society is sick, they burn. You burn until you learn.”
In this case though, they freeze.
Get used to it. Net Zero requires stone age subsistence. Anything else requires fossil fuel to get there.
The introduction of fossil fuels ended the Bronze Age, so we can do at least that . . .
. . . for a Bronze Age number of people.
OK, but remember, no hard metals or the planet will incinerate.
Re smaller number of people. Suggest that the gang greens go first. Just jump in the ocean and keep going.
The fish will love it and the gang greens will have saved the planet.
They are telling us what they are going to do and it won’t require a severe winter. An inch of snow and some lightly gusting winds will do prefaced by “unprecedented”.
And it will all be blamed on “climate change”.
Hear me now? or Hear me know?
I think I like the typo.
Some days you just can’t get a brake
They’re, they’re, don’t get upset.
Full steam ahead.
Meanwhile on the European Theatre the media is questioning the explosions that ruptured the Nord Stream pipelines.

Just a theory, and to open some discussion. At the moment Western Europe is financing the Russian war effort by purchasing Russian gas. America on the other hand is financing the Ukrainian war effort by financial loans and grants, actually indulging in another proxy war. There are only a handful of countries that have the capabilities to conduct an operation to blow up undersea installations. At least half of these countries are in Western Europe. Question, would any of these European countries take out their source of energy and further cripple their economies? By the same reason would Russia be willing to destroy the infrastructure that would damage its ability to fund their war effort and impact their recovery after the war? Next we have America! Now we have the biggest ‘red herring’ of the group. With the Benghazi debacle, the Afghanistan fiasco, the 2020 election turmoil, do we really think that the Democrats in power in Washington are stupid enough to cause an international incident by blowing up the pipelines? Well in a few words, perhaps they are.
But what no one seems to be looking at is China. China is the only one of the group capable of blowing up undersea infrastuctures and profiting from it. Cause an international crisis that could lead to another European war involving America and China could walk into Tiawan unimpeded.
The leaders of the Free World ( now that’s an oxymoron today) had better consider very carefully where they are going. Comments anyone.
I’ll go with the USA is being run by madmen, some of whom are on the CCP payroll.
I’m gonna say that the west will turn this from a regional conflict into an international one.
A conflict between two nations is … drumroll … wait for it … international.
Pedantic BS.
There are 100s of regional wars that weren’t “international”, or “world wars”, but folk like you are determined to see this one through to the use of nukes.
More proof that Dick the Butcher was right.
Xi is a psychopath but the Greens of the west have done a better job penetrating all the institutions than him. The US is tearing itself apart and leviathan is out of control. Likely not a well coordinated adventure but one aligned with the green theotechnocrats and deep state operatives. I’ll take the US for 500 points Alex!
The most absurd part is the still want you to believe Donald Trump is and was the problem. I am utterly convinced the payola laundered through the Ukraine is – may I say it -“huge'”. I think it crosses party lines and they don’t care how many people die to keep it hidden.
Keeping one of the most corrupt nations on the planet “free and autonomous” is essential to the Biden crime family’s revenue stream; and the warhawks in Washington are capable of unspeakable crimes against humanity.
Time to add some Lockheed, Raytheon and General Dynamics to the retirement portfolio.
Would the Russians damage their own infrastructure?
a) Given the European feeling about relying on Russian gas, would either undamaged pipeline be used in the future, or are they wasted assets? So Putin may be blowing up an unusable pipeline.
b) can the pipeline be repaired? Yes.
c) By invading Ukraine, Putin has destroyed vast amounts of Russian military assets. So he’s no stranger to destroying assets.
d) Other leaders have made decisions to destroy lots of perfectly functional assets. For example; prematurely decommission nuclear power plants, coal plants etc. And of course Biden re the partially finished Keystone XL, and the Dems trying to decommission Line 5.
Putin might make the same type of decision, after all its not Putin’s money.
e). Putin might be attempting to put the blame on the west, in an attempt to shore up public opinion, and gather support from his troops to fight on after such an attack on Mother Russia.
There maybe other reasons why Putin would blow up a small part of the pipeline.
Now I’m not saying Putin did it, merely that we shouldn’t say he didn’t because he’d be destroying his assets.
Joe stated what he would do. Now he owns it.
Mobile phone outages are a good thing. Mobile phones are the main method for tracking us.
Yes, think of all the valuable information they are getting tracking you to your work, gas station, groceries and going home.
Soon is the winter of their discontent.
Are they going to keep enough energy to sanitize their drinking water?
It wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t. Not that they couldn’t, just that they decided, meh, this’ll get them dropping way quicker.
Tin cans, string.
Some assembly required.
Something tells me the utility value of a ham radio ticket just went WAYYY up.
Think I oughta lay-in an order for a few hundred 2N2222s – they might come in handy for when the fancy computerized networked stuff goes QRT…
Digikey.ca’s got a couple hundred thousand PN2222 (40V, 1A) available, $22.44 CDN/hundred. Heck, you can get a thousand tape-loaded for $113.92 CDN!
(The metal can 2N2222A’s from Central Semi are waaayyyyy more expensive…)
Yeah – I should’ve said thousands. You can do a lot of RF, analog, & switching stuff with ’em, and with good heat-sinking, the metal-canned versions can make a pretty good little low-power transmitter.
And no software required…!
L – If the voters suffer from mental blackouts before and during elections. It leads to
electrical blackouts in their streets, businesses and homes.
The info. war blackouts by the federal/provincial governments in alliance with MSM, the major social media giants have been Psy-Ops designed to produce mass anxiety levels that prevent rational/critical thought. Food, Fuel, Finance and Info. Wars. The casualties mount daily and you haven’t seen anything, yet.
The current U.S. administration of chaos/malevolence subverts it’s own economy and that
of it’s Canadian and Euro-NATO partners. The Euro and the Pound-Sterling to drop to equal
to the U.S. dollar. The Euro economies will never be competitive using higher priced LNG
and oil from the U.S. . The cheapest, closest most reliable source was from Russia via
pipelines.
The U.S. State Dept. was effective post-WW2 at rebuilding the economies of Western Europe and the U.K. . But for the first time since then. Their current policy shrinks them to a regional hegemonic power, with only a weakened colonized: Europe, Canada, and Australia/N.Z. as it’s client states, for now. Sweden, Hungary and Italy are having second thoughts. Of the
others, how many will follow? Canada won’t be one of them anytime soon, as it’s leadership has no independence of thought or process remaining.
Exactly right. Industrial manufacturers all across Western Europe can no longer be price competitive in a wide variety of endeavors. Steel and aluminum production will and are cratering.
This, in combination with Biden’s actions to devastate US energy production accrues as a huge competitive advantage to China, Russia and India.

Sustainable Slavery! Say it with me now!
Never ascribe to maliciousness what can be explained by incompetence. And the Russians are experts at incompetence. The Nordstream pipeline breaks could easily stem from bad engineering or overindulgence in vodka at the pumping station.
And coincidence always happens in fours; and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed.
With shortages and restrictions predicted, organisations are jockying for preferential treatment.
EVERYONE is going to me claiming that they have SPECIAL NEEDS and deserve SPECIAL TREATMENT.
We are foolish if we don’t apply appropriate scepticism.
