  1. all of the EU needs TWO energy crisis plans.
one of which covers crises OF THEIR OWN MAKING

  2. I guess the policy of holding their breath till they turn blue hasn’t worked out that well.

  3. As a boxer once said: “Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth”. In this case, reality is doing the punching and Europe is the everyone.
But yeah, keep poking the Russian Bear, TinyTown.

Now if you’ll excuse me…I’m going to watch an old video of a German U.N. delegation laughing their asses off at Trump when he warned them about too much reliance on Russian gas.

  4. So Vladimir Putin not only ended the pandemic but climate change as well. You’d think our betters would be grateful.

  5. I love how they try to spin it so that “Russia” will lose.

I’m pretty sure that CHINA will take every bit of Nat Gas Russia can ship south to them.
SCREW the EU. Let them freeze in their MultiCult, Anti Nuclear, Anti Oil Sands remaining days… I’m from there, still have some folks genetically related to me, but ya know what.?? I could give a shit.

    1. There is no infrastructure to ship Russian gas to China either by LNG or pipeline.

If China wants Russian gas from Siberia they can invade it. It would be the most land conquered in the least time with the least fighting in history.

  6. Interesting that the Dutch have an emergency plan if they run low on natural gas but not one for renewable energy. Shows you what they rely on.

    1. Politicians know when their power is threatened…

“Depend upon it, sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.” …Samuel Johnson

    1. The children will lead us … children are so wise … so natural … so free of corporatism. Children know how much energy we need to operate our complex systems … they’re so intuitive.

What!? You don’t LIKE … the chilllllldren? What kind of monster are you!? The chillllllldren are gonna save us from “Big Oil” … and “Big Coal” … and “Big Bad Co2” Oh My!

  7. It seems the EU is convinced Russia will cut off gas this winter as an extortion measure.

They must have picked up some intel.

  8. Weird that they’re not installing those super cost-effective ultra-reliable solar panels.

    1. They are along with massive battery storage.

I know it is not a popular topic here but you would be remiss if you’ve not researched what Denmark has achieved.

      1. Solar power provided 1.4 TWh, or the equivalent of 4.3%[11] or 3.6% of Danish electricity consumption in 2021.

        What a spectacular achievement.
