23 Replies to “Hide Your Children”

  1. So now rather than teaching your children with actual knowledge that they could use, they’re changing children into being professional activists against their own parents.
Creating individuals who hate a family structure and only will be hating themselves for no good reason that they can understand.
If your children’s education is secret, you’ve going to be generating a problem later as they are stronger and become adults.

I love knowledge and innovation that can be passed down but our current politicians want only brain dead kids who follow the government directives absolutely.
I enjoyed working by myself and then have accumulated a vast array of techniques that help in that quest of doing my work quickly and efficiently at the highest of quality.
Even yesterday, I came up with a different way to rope my clothes line that I can torque the line extremely tight.
    Works extremely well.

    1. Wasn’t that a point in that book 1984: the Party encouraged children to report their parents for wrongthink, and then the kids would be hailed as heroes for doing so?

Also, destroying the family structure in general is just bad for those effected.

  2. I would think there would be a market for good teachers to work outside the government schools. Providing a real education to students is in demand now. Parents would pay if they know what the kids are learning. And teachers can control thier own class size by deciding how many students to take. They would also have some control over what they are paid.

    1. We are seeing it now in private institutions and an uptick in home-schooling.

It’s not happening in droves yet but it is happening.

Anyone who thinks that they can work within the system and change things is fooling themselves.

  3. I had to endure rubbish like that while I was at Armpit College. Instead of “wokeness”, it was “student as customer”.

I had to have the “training” and was supposed to be indoctrinated into that culture. That included changing my personal habits to reflect all that nonsense, including using the same gibberish terms in my everyday conversation.

I wasn’t alone. Many of the staff, like me, were coerced into going through it. Some did it willingly–some because they saw personal advantages and opportunities for advancement from that, while others actually believed it and their conversations indicated that. (“Comrade, there are benefits to becoming a member of the Party…..”)

Several people took that and started their own companies offering that same horse puckey. They recognized that there was money to be made by peddling that crapola to other firms and institutions.

I was a bad boy, however. Shortly before my “training” was finished, I decided I’d had enough and I walked out. (Shock! Horror!) My department head, who helped inflict that nonsense on the institution, was not pleased and he spent several years trying to make me pay for having embarrassed and insulted him.

  4. We pulled our children out of private school this year (a so called “Christian” school) because it was headed in the same direction. “Why pay additional tuition for this crap”, is the conclusion we arrived at. Now home school it is (and we’ve got 4 children and we’re not wealthy). Now we are looking at ways to start a new school, it can be done and we must save as many children as possible.

    1. Hey, we had 18 years olds this spring say things like ” I’m tired can I have Thursday off”, and one new hire actually went in the office and asked for a raise after more or less just showing up and breathing and being on the job 3 weeks at most. They should have just fired him but they can’t find any help. And it’s the same all over people are finally saying “it’s BAD.”
Your kids will be fine if at the least they acquire common sence, and a work ethic.
Modern Liberalisim and parents along with teachers with no backbone have just about killed both virtues.

      1. I had students like that while I was teaching at Armpit College. If I didn’t accommodate them (i. e., yield), they would either trash me in the student evaluations, file a complaint with the department head, or both. Regardless of what happened, it was yet another source for a headache for me.

Looking back at what I had to endure, it’s a wonder I never became an alcoholic. Had I stayed there much longer, I, no doubt, would have developed a severe drinking problem.

    2. Scott, you took on a shit load of work and the government will eventually brand your kids subversive, for actually having knowledge.

  5. It really is time to be able to redirect your school levy on your property taxes to a school of your choice or use it for your own home schooling costs, instead of the payment defaulting to public and catholic school boards.
The only way this shit stops is when the trough is threatened.

    1. Canada, not going to happen. Sheep have no idea where they are headed unless lead, even then they are lost.

  6. It seems that the school boards have not thought this out. If they create entire cohorts of mentally enfeebled children, who’s going to grow up to pay the property taxes to pay their salaries? It’ll take a while, but they’re shooting themselves in the foot. Or in the non-gender-specific genitals, as the case may be.

I know that the whole point of public education is to create a compliant underclass, but at least the compliant underclass of earlier generations was still able to mostly function and get jobs and be somewhat productive.

Inculcating such deep mental damage and incapacitating identity crises is going to create entire generations of absolutely useless people – utterly dependent on and militantly demanding of endless support and accommodation.

The budget for such support is going to have to come from somewhere.

  7. This week past our school board, after much fanfare and delighted anticipation sent out, by email, their “Stand Up and Be Counted” survey. Student from grade 7-12 were to fill it out on their own. Below that, the parents were to fill it out. Please let me share with you how I responded:

Questions 1-6 dealt with nationality/language/race/religion/indigenous identity and I answered those by reminding them that all this information is gathered at the time of enrolment of the student and it is a waste of resources to recollect this data.

    Q. What gender Identity does your child have?

    A. Ah, now we get to the real reason for the “census”. My 5th grader identifies as a student who wants a rigorous and challenging education provided to him. Enquires beyond that scope are nothing more than politically driven attempts at social conditioning. For 30 years it has been my job to protect my children from predatory behaviour and I will not stop now. Considering the enthusiastic move toward child grooming by the Ministry of Education and this school board it is clear that there are influences within these organizations that are a threat and danger to children. Our family is currently looking at alternative education options for our child, other than this school board.

    Q. Does your child have a disability!

    A. This information would also already be on file at the board, and if it is not, it is a clear indication of negligence by the board and/or school.

    1. “Does your child have a disability?” The typo exclamation mark casts bad aspersions on me.

      1. Whoa, for a moment there, I thought you said, “bad-ass Persians”. Sorry, don’t mind me.

  8. Why do you think the Turd is frantically promoting 10$ subsidized child care with the provinces? So children can be indoctrinated at a very young age. Rest assured that the curriculum will be woke and supported by the Feds, not the premiers nor the parents. I would not touch it with a 10 foot pencil.

  9. Yes, homeschool or private school if you have kids. If you don’t have kids, or your kids are grown, then DONATE MONEY to a private school or to a homeschool association.
