2. The idea that 3rd wave feminism is distinctly different from 2nd wave feminism is wrong. So-called 3rd wave feminism is the logical extension of 2nd wave feminism. They are part of the same thing. They are both the celebration of self and liberation from an imagined oppressor.

   She starts of explaining she is “proud to be a woman”. What complete nonsense. We split into genders when it wasn’t enough to be proud of being a woman, then a black woman, then a black, lesbian woman, and then a black, obese, lesbian woman.

5. I became a 0 wave feminist one day in 1971 when we bought our first house. The lawyer handling the conveyance told me to make sure that I put the house in my name only. I was well and truly shocked. Since then, every asset that legally could be, has been held jointly.

   At around the same time there was a famous case in one of the prairie provinces in which a lawyer with a home-maker wife who looked after multiple children and supported him through law school, TOOK ALL on the marital breakup (reversed I believe).

   NOW we have a serious imbalance in FAVOUR of women.

   ALL movements that don’t dissolve when the original goals have been been accomplished become evil.

   1. l recollect a similar case somewhere in the prairies, a common law relationship when the woman supported the farmer husband, the relationship soured and she was left with NOTHING based on it wasnt a full legal marriage.

      that one brought in the usual flawed measures and gave us countless ‘gold digger’ situations which then needed yet *another* ‘patch’ in marital law. fcuk. it never ends eh?

YES, in BC I learned in a seminar that a pre-nup agreememt has no real standing after about three years, and that judges, too many of them women of a feminist persuasion, tend to “correct” these agreements because they are considered “unfair”. A deal is a deal between consenting adults is now an alien notion.

6. Feminism led us to the point where children can be mutilated at the behest of a handful of groomers and some really stupid and attention-seeking women who should never have been allowed to be mothers in the first place but bred to save their shaky marriages.

   Perhaps I’m being cynical.

9. Modern women got their job at the box factory just like their husbands, what an achievement as a society when men and women can be drones in sector 7G.

   Women’s happiness has declined steadily over the past 50 years, I wonder why that is?

   1. The state is a very boring husband. Yet, many women still think being “married” to the state is the way to go.
