Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

This has nothing to do with what I just posted, Kate. I have an alibi.
Ok, this is worrisome.
I’ve got news for you. Food processing plants have always been fire traps. To increase shelf life a lot of process locations pre-cook. This, believe or not, requires automated units that are working in tandem with hydraulic conveyor belts. The fluid in these units is “sometimes” flammable. So, if a hose springs a leak at the wrong place…you have yourself an unexpected bar-b-que.
Some days I think maybe we’ll see our way clear of …. this.
Now I see here evidence suggesting the jig isn’t up, at all. I was unaware of what is an apparantly sustained abnormal increase in unnatural catastrophic events occurring specifically in the food supply industry. Being unaware of a modest increase is one thing, but this appears to exceed two standard deviations above the norm.
Shocking, how well organized media suppression has become.
I was unaware.
Thanks for the heads up.
Beyond upsetting.
Wait until a few refineries go ” kaboom “.
Unexpectedly, of course.
I am still mystified who will control the mob when unleashed? How do the perpetrators plan to escape?
China is winning this war.
Its not as if we’re letting terrorists have free access to the nation via the (former) southern border.
Here’s perhaps a releated story.
.
This is a press release put out by CF Industries, which is a giant fertilizer producer with many Factories in the U.S. and in the U.K. and in Canada.
This press release is from CF Industries letting everyone know that they are being denied the use of rail cars and railway tracks for shipping product during this crucial period of time when their product is desperately needed by farmers for the spring planting season.

UP is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. I guess they need the rail capacity to ship oil. Since it can’t be pipelined from Canada
Thanks for that, Mr.Greg! The organic folk will be having orgasms… 😉
Not so critical, but a large mushroom facility north of Calgary had a major fire recently.
So that explains the mushroom cloud on the horizon…
I have an acquaintance who is on a terrorist “kill list,” based on his job. He’s pretty much a nobody, though he did some defense work, but the list is long and the idea is that if you are a terrorist and happen to know somebody on the list, or randomly have an opportunity… It’s not a centralized command and control thing, just a list circulated. This could well be something similar. “If you have the opportunity, these are the kinds of targets, here are some ideas.”
As these Russian sanctions boomerang, this kind of thing only makes it worse. Not saying it’s Putin, but he has a motive, so does Xi, so does Iran. We live in a glass house and no fence for our yard, here in the US, and we throw a lot of stones.
The fertilizer shipping thing is just inexplicable, but I am sure Mayor Pete is on the job making sure that mass starvation doesn’t happen on his watch due to something he could have addressed! My guess is that high gas prices are before the mid-terms, and the starvation will come after.
I passed onthe link to a corespondent of mine, who drives truck for a fertilizer corporation.
He passed this on to me as a comment… (he’s referencing delayed fertilizer delivery.)
“That isn’t good. It is possible to broadcast it on later but the machines that do that have wide tires and urea gasses off if it sits in the sun so the farmers would need it to rain right after they apply it. When they plant, the fertilizers (N, P, and K, and S depending on what they’re planting) get tilled into the soil when the seed goes in so you’re also talking more fuel if extra steps are needed. I didn’t see a reason why Union Pacific is having issues. The fires at food processing plants are concerning. That’s almost to the point that it can’t be accidental.”
