Hey Alberta, if you don’t vote for a UDI like real soon, you know what’s about to happen.
AB can’t stop paying for Quebec’s fancy entitlements, but they think they can separate.
The best they can do is a warmed-over pale imitation of Quebec’s threats, which the feds will ignore, at best.
Quebec, unlike TROC, knows how to treat the feds, that is with utter contempt and scorn, and if the rest of the provinces did the same, the damage the feds could do would be curtailed.
But no, TROC prefers to cry “its not fair! WAH!!” and stamp their witoo feet like the infantile women that they are, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Quebec keeps winning and you keep losing.
I thought more money chasing goods creates inflation.
The Quebec agriculture sector has been the beneficiary of very generous support over the years by their provincial….sorry, BROKE provincial governments. Running deficits they would go “cap in hand” to the feds looking for support.
Equalization entrenched in the constitution dictates this will always be so.
There is only one way out of this.
If westerners only understood how the transfers of wealth from west to east have impacted us over the last 50 years the movement towards western independence would rapidly gain acceptance.
Wide spread recognition that the west is a colony to be exploited can not come soon enough.

For starters, they’re more afraid of guns than the East is.
Secondly, their governments enjoy screwing over their people too much, and when their people get sick of that, they vote in the NDP.
Thirdly, they have less balls than your average Frenchman.
My Quebec friends who earn a combined $265,000 but one of them earns less than $100,000 will find that extra $500 handy to cope with the inflation pressures they are feeling.
Here in Ontario, I’m not allowed to climb a ladder at work without a state-issued ticket that takes a course and a few hundred buck to get. Thankfully, most outfits ignore the law, but big outfits can’t ignore it. The left wishes they had enough cops to enforce this law, the Canadian Right would rather spend the money on torturing freaks with funny hair, and busting kids for smoking pot, instead of helping them, by putting them to work, but child labor is illegal here, so kids can’t work, man, that woulda put a dent in the income as a lawn mowing, leaf-raking, ice-scraping moneys that I made as a child…
Is it time for another time out for the naysayers like me?
