   We have seen this movie before. A changed policy in the “fractional reserve system” in 1972 resulted in a tripling of the Canadian money supply in the following 3 years.
   Those invested in assets like land, homes etc saw their values climb and people wrongfully assumed they were financial geniuses. And borrowed some more.
   On the news every night we were told that the government was doing all they could to combat “inflation”. Like Tucker says now “the very problem they had created”.
   It is very predictable what happens next.
   There is only one way to shrink the money supply. Interest rates!
   Real wealth that’s created and turned into our manipulated “funny money”, “medium of exchange” goes back to the lenders as interest, never to be circulated again.
   Dislocation, bankruptcies, foreclosures etc follows.

   Hang on. This is not going to end well.

      And they can sure as hell lie about it. Back in the 1970s the Canadian government created inflation through deliberate government policy. Then they tried to control it through wage and price controls as if controlling by fiscal and monetary policies was out of their hands. The fact is they wanted a low dollar.    We bought our first home in 1993 at 8.25% – and thinking that was simply phenomenal.

   I remember those previous Years of 20+% interest rates. Gonna be mighty interesting on those who today who have a 650K+ mortgage with maybe 70K equity. Can you spell SUB PRIME (well sorta like that no.?).

   House prices will be like Head Smashed in Buffalo JUMP…with the owners following right behind.

9. TC nails it pretty much every night. And he’s totally fearless. He derisively insults and belittles all these filthy commies in the Biden Administration and I love it! If “Heavy D” (DeSantis) doesn’t run for President, I’d be perfectly content with TC as my second choice. (For the record – although I’d love to see it – I don’t see Donny Two Scoops winning in 2024)

   It’s great that Fox allows entire clips like this to be posted on-line because I haven’t had cable TV in two decades.

      I agree. Watch Fox nightly…the 5 and Tucker.
      About the only ones even remotely suggesting that there is far far too much war mongering going on… among a ton of other “minor” shit that is simply being ignored like 6.00+/gal, CRIME, Southern Border, Inflation, Supply Chain.

      The rest is full on Military Industrial Complex war Mongering…ad nasuea. Can’t have the ONLY industry left in the US sitting idle now can we…..??
