A gentleman in Ontario named Dan Arcand has sent a very powerful letter to Heather Heying, of the Dark Horse Podcast. It’s well worth reading:

The narrative of the truckers was beautiful and tragic. The same people who we all believed had taken an enormous risk to their lives in early 2020 to feed the country during peak Covid hysteria, were now being fired for doing exactly what they were called heroes for last year. It made no sense.

Now they, the forlorn heroes—the western Canadian cowboys—were going to ride into town and slay the dragon, and all for us. It was almost too good to be true. But they were exactly the heroes we needed and not a moment too early. I still can’t believe how close we were just last week to collapsing under the weight of our own despair.

And just like that the media turned its attention from the “resistor next door” onto them. They were vilified.

I think what needs to be argued to the pro-passport/mandate crowd is that, by their own logic, they are now dead-set on putting needles in arms for entirely arbitrary reasons. This is indefensible in a post-omicron world where the fatality rate is closer to the flu, the vaccinated don’t prevent spread, and the un-vaxxed are now likely more immune and less likely to spread than triple-vaxxed shut-ins due to exposure to omicron or earlier variants.

    I know most here think mandates and passports have been indefensible all along, but to the pro-vax crowd, omicron is (or should be) the game changer on this issue.

The left want to rule us, but like most mental midget they can’t grasp the fact that the rest of us have no intention of allowing them to rule us using the snivel service as their army of Stasis. As for Trudy, it’s time for a non-confidence vote but their secret coalition with the NDP will ensure that doesn’t happen.   9. I think UnMe is Justin Ling, the reporter. I’m beginning to think he is actually a far-right guy who parodies dumb left wingers. There is no way this fellow can think he is making an impact on the undecided. I think the over-the-top left wing parody is a well thought out attempt to “push” the undecided into the right wing camp.
