When I see the faces of women in their 50’s and 60’s protesting in Denmark, Belgium or Germany and the cops canes come down on them for just being there, I believe I see a realization. I do think their fussing about the flag on the Terry Fox statue is pathetic and totally hypocritical. Jim Watson should be ashamed of himself for failing to understand what the Trucker Convoy represents, and instead commenting on petty grievances. No biggy to remove the flag and sign, but why carry on as though this is somehow a significant transgression. Sadly, that’s how many Ottawa bureaucrats think.
