30 Replies to “What’s the Difference Between Australia and a Banana Republic?”

    1. There is no in-credulity … the Auzzies have shown themselves for what they are … Fascist Leftists and timid fraidy-cats who bought the fear porn on every cable channel and internet site available. They’ve masturbated 24/7 to every genre of fear porn.

Australia is dead to me, and I don’t plan on being “nice” to any Australian tourists anymore. No matter how friendly they appear. I don’t want their type in my country anymore. Esp. those who have overstayed their Visas. Sorry … behaviors have consequences.

      1. I think the Serbs should kidnap some Aussies, on some pretext (like insulting the Orthodox Church) then propose a hostage swap.

Oh and Aussie tourists, you will want to be careful now. People all over the world are going to be looking for new and exciting ways to screw you over very thoroughly.

  1. Australia produces almost 400,000 tonnes of bananas annually, so really there is not much difference.

    1. Yes, but our PM turdo is so busy shoving all the bananas he can up his a&& that it leaves very little for other countries to use to declare themselves banana republics, not that they aren’t trying anyways.

      1. Mini Pierre is quite busy these days getting his self shot foot out of his mouth with his anti-vaxxer rant outing him as a bigot.
You see those people from Alberta, I mean “anti-vaxxers” are obviously anti-science misogynists and white supremacists.
Obvious traitors to our country, demanding free choice for themselves, threatening others, just like the evil vaccinated. No wait!
Except, by the boy blunder’s illogic, they’re from Ontario and Quebec not Alberta, where the unvaccinated are presumably dying.
About 3/4 of covid deaths are those with more than four co-morbidities, fully half of “covid hospitalizations” unrelated to the virus.
IOW miniscule death rates are overstated threefold and our hospitalizations by 100%, BC daily deaths up to 3.3, or actually 1.5?
A more transmissible virus for which each and every patient is tested for will undoubtedly “increase” hospitalizations and deaths.
Counted because of a positive test and no other reason, not their illness, their diagnoses on admittance, or their cause of death.
Quite the oh shit moment, tarring your power base getting the facts completely wrong. Different day same progressive projection.
When will people realize when progressives, aka Marxists, hurl insults at you and others, they reveal themselves, not their targets?

  2. The current globalists are very much like the Titanic in it’s thinking as they’re going down they have 95 lifesavers and 100 politicians…so rather than give them out to survive, they’d sooner not give any out and sink together.

  3. I’m often seeing Australia being called China South, not a banana republic. I guess that means Canada is China North and New Zealand is New China.

We keep in touch with a couple from Melbourne since we became friends on a long vacation tour over 20 years ago. The husband, R, used quite colorful language a few months ago when talking to us about the situation in Melbourne. The abuse of power and gross betrayal by governments, police and public health will be neither forgiven nor forgotten, imo.

    1. If he thinks they are going to stand down, return to normal, to be held accountable, he is almost certainly wrong.
They have, as evidenced by his own opinion, already pushed so far that doubling down, which is a square function, is the only path left open to them that doesn’t revolve around flight or self termination.

Freedom and justice will depend on a certain measure of insistence.

      1. I’m thinking more of a permanent lack of trust, hostility and resentment and no respect for government, police and public health than actual legal consequences. Those grievances can have long term, unintended consequences that erode everything thing from social cohesion to willingness to be honest about tax paying to respect for the law to charity and community spirit. The corrosive, toxic policies of the present will poison the future.

We all know that the rich and powerful are rarely brought to justice or have any direct consequences for their crimes.

          1. “If that is the way the Australians feel, then they are lost.”

They were lost when they stupidly agreed to give up their guns in response to a problem that they didn’t actually have.

      2. To use the necessary measure of insistence one will have to have a tool for self defense in one’s hand, and be prepared to use it before they shoot you. That is where we are headed. That or slavery and I will not bend my knee to any idiot politico.

  4. I will reiterate my previous stance. The rules must apply to everyone if they are to have any credibility at all. That doesn’t mean that I agree with the rules. In fact, I vehemently disagree with these lock down rules as I am against any rule depriving citizens freedom of movement and mobility, as we are now enduring in this hell-hole of a country.

But whatever rules are in place must apply universally. If “exceptions” are going to be made for non-compassionate reasons, then the rules themselves need to be re-evaluated.

  5. Making them realize they’re wrong is the job of the voter. It remains to be seen whether Australians have the sense to turf them out and give them time to reflect on their misdeeds. I am not optimistic in that regard.

  6. The correct answer to “What is the difference between Australia and a banana republic”,seems to be 2 generations of rich lazy living.
Seems that is all it takes.

The totalitarians will never “wake up and realize” anything.
They love them some “State Authority”,which allows largely talentless Beta’s to exercise raw power with out accountability.
So their only awakening will be that of the French Overloads as Madame guillotine began to sing.

With much bleating of “Look,we did what you wanted us too do,for your own good,we saved you…well even if we killed thousands..we meant well”
Short form;”Look what you made me do”.
The favourite of the ugly and evil for all time.

That old saw,”A man cannot be made to see a problem, when his pay-check depends on him NOT seeing it.”
The age of Big Government is Good, ended,we are only just beginning to acknowledge the cost.

Everything goes in cycles,so as it becomes deadly to trust The State and any of its corrupt minions, claiming to be “Speaking for the common good”,then the Gullible will get thinned.
    Tolerance is a luxury.
One that only a productive and wealthy society can permit themselves.
We are moving rapidly to “No free lunch”.

Damn shame about all those promises,AKA Guaranteed benefits funded by stolen wealth..
What you thought you would see a pension?
One that would allow you a comfortable retirement from wage slavery?
If you still retain such illusion, why you must be a graduate of Public Education.

  7. Trailer for a documentary that is being released shortly.

I’m calling it “Rich Kid Syndrome”.
The majority have never experienced poverty or real danger. They have no idea what it takes to create AND PAY FOR a relatively safe, prosperous society….. therefore they have the belief that the money and the safety will always be there to rescue them, regardless of whatever stupid things they do.

History is not taught in our schools.
Most of our children have no idea of how a civil society is built, or how it can degrade into tyranny.

The Rule of Law – the principle that Government is as constrained by the Law as is everyone else – has been ignored since the start.
It is contrary to State, Federal and International law to demand to know whether I have been vaccinated. It is contrary to State, Federal and International law to mandate experimental medicines. It has been illegal to detain people without trial or prospect of trial since Magna Carta….

…. Yet our respective respective Governments have simply lied to our faces. They have lied that they are not doing what they clearly ARE. That the Law does not state what it clearly does. And the majority are too damned ignorant to know that they are being lied to.

    I aim to misbehave.

    1. Why do they have that annoying music on the Melbourne trailer when people are speaking?

  8. Bit more back story.

Back in 2020 our Prime Fence sitter decided that rather than be forced to make decisions and then have massive arguments with the states over their rights in the Constitution (and hence be forced to make more decisions), he would instead form a ‘National Cabinet’ where the State Premiers and him would meet to make decisions on the best place to put the concentration camps. Or something.

(this opens up a lot of discussion about how government and elected officials work in Australia. The National Cabinet does not include the Leader of the Opposition – nominally the second most important person in our Federal System – and totally ignores the fact that voters elect Senators to represent State rights in Canberra. So there is that can of worms)

So, Scott Morrison, in an effort to be everyone’s friend, sat on the fence over the Covid Response and told everyone it was a ‘State Issue’ and refused to get involved when Victoria was beating people on the streets. While Scott tried to be everyone’s friend, Gladys from NSW and Stairman Dan got involved in a massive dick measuring contest over who could lock up the most people.

Then Gladys was forced to step down cause she was corrupt and made the mistake of getting caught and the new New South Wales Premier started to throw his minions carrots.

So Stairman Dan, Emperor for Life of Victoria suddenly decided that he needed to keep up with the neighbours and in late November/early Dec suddenly said “You have all been good slaves. Beatings will reduce and Victorians can now look forward to going to the Boxing Day Test (cricket) and the Australian Open (tennis)”

(forget actual date and paraphrasing – but the Test and the Open were called out as carrots)

So, having told the masses that they could go to the Tennis and having cut a deal with Tennis Australia to ensure all the correct people got lots of money, Victoria now needed to deliver. They needed Novak as he was Number 1 but he was telling the world to stick their Jab up their own arms and leave him alone.

So, if the World Number One didn’t show it would sorta suck, so Tennis Australia and Vic Gov cut him a deal to make sure he would come and play in Melbourne.

Problem? Under the Australian Constitution our international borders are a Federal issue, NOT a State one.

Now Morrison is part of the Liberal Party (the soft left). Dan Andrews is Australian Labor (the hard left). These two pollical parties get on like the MSM and the truth. Morrison et al looked at what Dan was doing and decided it was time to remind the States the CANBERRA was still in charge.

So they picked a fight with Victoria using Novak as the excuse.

    And…

    That went well.

Very little about this is about Novak. It is all about Canberra wanting to put the States back in their box.

Not saying this isn’t an utter farce – cause it totally is – but stems from the fact that Morrison allowed the States to start pushing him around in the first place, then picked completely the wrong fight with which to re-establish his power. No one for a moment considered that dragging a World Number One into this internal argument MIGHT just go (pun intended) Viral.

Cause they are idiots who didn’t think this through properly.

Now they have upset the Serbs, more or less for no practical reason, and allowed a court ruling to be passed regarding the pros and cons of vaccinations for international travel. Remember the courts have said that it IS SAFE (within reason) to travel into Australia WITHOUT a vax.

This is a big can of worms. If you can enter – safely – Australia without the Jab, then why can you also not cross a state border – safely – without a Jab?

    Big can of worms.

    Big Farce.

Big International Embarrassment. (France was less pissed off at us when we told them our new best undersea friends were now people who weren’t them).

    Could have been avoided.

    1. Also, for the record, the Federal Government DO have the right under Australian Law to control the borders.

Vic Gov and Tennis Australia do not have the legal right to make their own rules.

If I read the legal ruling the courts do not deny this, they instead say that there was no legal grounds to cancel Novak’s visa.

      Legally correct? Ummm… maybe.
Ethically correct in context? Absolutely. Novak is the victim here.
Am I pleased? Mostly. This will HOPEFULLY add some serious challenges to the entire ‘Vax Solves Everything’ narrative.
