Correct me if I’m wrong but Kyle did take the gun across state lines when he returned home. So many wrongs.
My understanding was the rifle was in the possession of the friend who had purchased it. He put it in his trunk then turned it over to police later. Another nit was calling the attackers protesters. Read a guy today who is from Kenosha who said one thing no one has mentioned is that this all took place 10 blocks from where the actual protest was going on. These guys were there to riot and burn as evidenced by Rosenbaum trying to push a dumpster that was on fire into a gas station. There seems to be a good number of these types, chaos tourists, who just want to see the world burn.
Wasn’t it established by testimony that directly after the shooting Rittenhouse went over to the police and told them about it and they told him to leave. They didn’t ask him for the AR-15 style rifle. The police seem to have been ordered to stand down earlier. That might be just what they did.
You are responsible for a weapon until you secure it. Judges don’t go after people for obeying cops.

He wasn’t charged with possession of an illegal weapon. So why were the Aussies focusing on irrelevant details such as the length of the barrel of the gun, the transportation of the gun, or what borders it had crossed?? Interesting to note that when I commented on the article about Rittenhouse’s acquittal in the National Post and suggested that people respect the decision of the jury, I had my comment deleted. Who’s side is the NP on anyway??
