         Oh, and below, you do know that “it’s” is the abbreviation for “it is”, so you’re commenting “Vancouver is well on it is way. RIP.”? Glass houses and all that.

   1. Hey DJ, Vancouver is a weird place for sure, but I think its mood is a product of which subculture is dominant at any given time. As an aside, as a transplant myself who lived in the Metro area for 20 years, I know only two natural born Vancouverites: my son and a neighbour who was born and raised on Denman street.

3. We went to Oregon 5 years ago visiting Eugene Portland Williamet Valley etc. Stayed in downtown Portland. Great hotel, great restaurants and lots of activities. No graffiti no garbage, cops were real nice, people there were fantastic. Drove thru the I5 thru Oregon and Washington state this summer on business. My god what a completely different city. Garbage, people standing around. Garbage and graffiti everywhere. Both Seattle and Portland were the worst. It reminded me so much of several trips I took to New York City in the early eighties. What a disaster.

4. Portlandia just isn’t funny anymore. It’s that exact kind of degenerate leftist culture that spawns the dregs inhabiting the streets of Portland today.

5. The sad thing is that the governing philosophy among the Democrats who run Portland is shared by the Democrats running every major American city: They regard these cities as their private property.

   Minneapolis, LA, Chicago, San Francisco are just as badly trashed as Portland. Democrat cities in one party Democrat states. The Democrats don’t care.

      They went to study the ‘social arts’ and other such garbage of the mind.
      They learned how to hog conversation.
      They learned how to control the media.
      They created the swamp.

      They never cared about anything, they only care about being in charge.
      They can tell the proletariat that the rich must pay their fair share and they themselves will live well off the money while keeping the proletariat happy with free useless crumbs while stealing them blind.
      Yes, the “Democrats” do “care”.
