      1. The senior administration at my former employer, Armpit College, took great delight whenever there was a recession or some company came to the city with promises of hiring people.

        I often saw long lineups of prospective students hoping to sign up for “retraining” or whatever courses might be in demand because Dinglehoofer, Inc. was going to build a new call centre in town.

        The fact was those administrators couldn’t have cared less if anybody in those lineups learned anything or even got a job upon graduation. All that place was concerned about was $$$$ and desperate people, those trying to improve their lives, were simply sources of revenue.

If they don’t want oil and gas, then they should not be allowed the option of driving their oil and gas vehicle, the natural gas pipe to their house should be closed and locked, all the plastics in their houses should be removed including clothing, footwear, dishes, appliances, cell phones and computers, etc., they should have no access to any medications synthesized from fossil fuels, and their dentists should not be allowed to use resins to fix their teeth.

        I guarantee that within a few short months, particularly winter months, they will be screaming aloud for a return to oil and gas. It is the ignorance of their reliance upon the technology supplied by oil and gas that is on full display. I would support this motion for every member of parliament or provincial legislature that is stupid enough to spout this nonsense.

But there are high numbers for rent and gasoline. Also, the raw, unseasonally-adjusted CPI data show high month-to-month inflation, from May to June.

    I know that Rush is not for everyone but this 6 minute video will blow you away at the talent level of the 3 band members. Filmed in 2011 the guitarist and bass player were 58 and the drummer 59 years old at that time. This is the last song of a 3 hour concert and the energy and musicianship they display is breath-taking.
