I don’t think Harper was bad. I believe his son just needs to mature and get more life experience. He is pretty young — a typical young person. I hope he eventually proves to be as smart as his dad.

Then he encouraged the importation of outsiders through the Temporary Foreign Worker program, which was simply an excuse for Canadian employers to bring in cheap, though not necessarily skilled, labour.
The only reason I voted for him in 2015 was because the alternative would have been much worse, and that, sadly, turned out to be true.

Asked by a reporter why the police didn’t intervene he replied apparently the tiny minority of mostly peaceful protesters was a crowd of about 1000 people and police were afraid of causing a riot. As long as they could take their frustration out on objects instead of hurting people it was better to let it happen.
