We Don’t Need No Stinking Giant Fans

John F. Kerry, the special presidential envoy for climate, said only months ago that those losing fossil fuel jobs in coal and hydraulic fracturing will find they have a better choice of jobs in either the solar industry or as wind turbine technicians.

That was then. Now, a wind blade manufacturing plant located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, has announced it is shutting its doors permanently in less than two months.

  1. Wind and solar are the baby soothers of the mindless drones of the climate hoax. While thus pacified they instantly become electrical engineers and physicists and can rule over the declining west with a level of arrogance only matched by their ignorance. Western Eloi anxiously awaiting the Chicom (Morlock) “call to prayer”.

  2. Let them learn coding…
We need more computer games to keep the masses entertained.

  3. Look what just happened in Texas.
Ice on the wind mills shut them down and snow on the solar panels made them useless.

Everything was freezing, water pipes were breaking. People were freezing.
Can you imagine the idiocy of wind and solar!
How are we going to charge our electric cars or even stay warm in one with no power?

I know their trying to kill us with this stupid vaccine but wind and solar will do it in damn short order, Under the right conditions.

  4. Quote from the UN’s “Financing Climate Action” site:

“Studies and reports conducted before the COVID-19 pandemic showed that investments in climate action would go far to build a sustainable economy. According to October 2019 data from the World Bank , the world will need to make significant investment in infrastructure over the next 15 years –around US$90 trillion by 2030. But it can recoup those investments. Transitioning to a green economy, it found, can unlock new economic opportunities and jobs. An investment of US$1, on average, yields US$4 in benefits. ”

90 TRILLION?!?!?! These people are not only insane, but incredibly dangerous as well. Where are we to get all this money? The West is already flat broke with unaffordable entitlement programs that are bankrupting our societies. And now we are expected to spend another $90 trillion on top of that? Please. These people are all communists posing as greens and they are hell bent on taking us to Year Zero.

“An investment of US$1, on average, yields US$4 in benefits” This is pure baloney!

    1. I discovered much the same thing through my own research.

After I quite my teaching job at Armpit College, I continued working on what I investigated for my Ph. D. I added more economic details to the computer model of the renewable energy system I examined, using present-day technology and assuming that there was no government financial support.

I kept coming against the same fact: no matter how I configured the system, one needed to have very deep pockets in order to pay for it.

    2. Sid, Not baloney, considering MMT, the four dollar yield will only have an actual value of two bits/25 cents. Of course, what is not considered is the costs associated with Solar and Turbine waste, that will yield a negative $50 bucks per ton, that in real terms will only be a net loss of $12.50 per ton. Extrapolating here, as my math is not the best, that is a net loss of only $12.75 per ton in total, meaning we’ll go broke a lot slower than the experts predict. There, fixed for you 🙂 /s

  5. New maths ,that is minus 4.
Amazing how wind and solar is so cheap our cost per kW/H just keeps on going up..
Maybe if it was “expensive” the consumer cost would decrease?

Was reading a posting on the power situation in Hawaii ,which is the one place in USA that wind and Solar have a chance of success, where the Tradewind blows like clockwork and the sun shines 6-6 each day..And all the competing energy has to be imported, where home heating and Airconditioning are not critical necessities..
    And still they fail.
Every dollar spent, invested they say,on wind and solar costs us 4 more in lost opportunity and environmental cleanup..

I guess if you are a parasite, mining the government subsidies to stand them up and then sucking up to the EPA to get paid to take ’em down, them those other numbers might work.

    1. Their sleight of hand is to make gasoline more and more expensive, so “renewables” can pretend to be price competitive.

Except these monoliths to Tulipism have yet to produce a single kilowatt hour unfunded by taxpayers, or operate without backup from fossil fuel infrastructure power. Hydroelectric and nuclear? Yes, but not this rare earth metals shit China sells us.

The rent seekers couldn’t believe their luck, a counterintuitive theory imported from the environmental cesspools of the USSR and Eastern Europe, a new home for the totalitarians, living proof this whole climate charade is masquerading Marxism.

By creating a false climate scare and peak oil junk science they got their mitts on our dough, with the sycophants cashing in.

This wouldn’t have happened except for the “climate emergency,” which is the best kind of narrative because it doesn’t exist.

In real life entrepreneurs risk their own money bringing these technologies to economic prime time, like cars, television, microwaves, the internet, big screen TVs – because, as Friedman noted, no government program made them happen.

But rent seekers and partisan progressive politicians can’t see that point. You lose them at people using their own money.

  6. California has told all it’s residents to stop charging their electric cars as they are running out of power. Stupidity has it’s consequences

  7. A free economy wouldn’t naturally gravitate to this dumb crap, so a command and control socialist style economy has to be implemented to create a false demand.
The 20th century is riddled with socialist failures and modern leaders pay its miserable legacy no heed because they all think they have the magical missing element to bring forth a socialist utopia.
What gives green energy the illusion of working is massive infusions of taxpayer cash, and if that’s disrupted the whole phony industry falls like dominos.
Contrived economies built on fake supply and demand will always fail.

  8. L – “John F. Kerry, the special presidential envoy for climate, said only months ago that those losing fossil fuel jobs in coal and hydraulic fracturing will find they have a better choice of jobs in either the solar industry or as wind turbine technicians. ”

If John Kerry was a working man, two major unemployment spikes due to his “climate” policies
would leave him in a pickle. But as he married into the Heinz pickle family fortune, he gets to build castles in the clouds and play Peter Pan.

Voters electing a millionaire(by hook or crook or by inheritance) voted to destroy their own livelihood in both the United States and Canada. Americans are in the process of taking back their lives and the long struggle to rebuild their economy.

Meanwhile, Canadians are shuffling around in masks and flipflops, head bowed silently, peasant style in obeisance to Health mandarins. So pacified with gov’t. provided weed, they line up eager to be stabbed in the shoulder with a Spike protein blood transported pathogen .

W.H.O. will answer, if you call ? I wager, it will be the Empress of Vancouver; the first woman to rule Canada. Thus leaving Just in Trudeau, living as a figurehead, tragically wandering around cottage country forever, crying “We, We”, and trying to figure out where his wife went.
