  4. While I suppose we will never know the real facts. And I feel bad about these kids, like I would feel bad about any kids deaths for what ever reason’s.
    Do I feel guilt or shame as a White Man? I may be a beast of a man, but I feel no GUILT or SHAME.
    That is all upon the Politician’s and the Canadian System of Politics and the CHURCHES. I keep telling you Canada can not be fixed. It just needs to go away.
    Canada is a disgusting Corrupt Political system that is totally unaccountable and exists basically as a penal colony or tax farm and we are all it’s prisoner’s. It has nothing to do with Democracy or Freedom or Liberty.
    It is just a control system for the Canadian Chapter of a failed Empire.

    1. While very sad, people forget that childhood was quite perilous before the age of 5 up until the late 1950’s. I remember the polio epidemic (a friend in high school had 2 sisters left in wheelchairs, she considered herself lucky in that she walked with a pronounced limp). While working as summer housekeeping relief at the University of Alberta hospital in the late 1960’s, there were still 2 iron lungs in use (left over from the polio epidemic).
      My family is buried at a small cemetery left over from when the village it served, was amalgamated into the larger town. Walk through the cemetery (white settlers) and there are many headstones with people from birth until 10 who died from measles, small pox, typhoid fever, diptheria (sp?) and farm accidents.
      Residential schools were thought to be the best response to bringing education to as many native people as possible. ON the prairies, there were many nomadic tribes and taking the children to one place was deemed acceptable. Again sadly, the system allowed for many petty tyrants and Nurse Ratcheds
      I love history – I do not love people who apply today’s standards to what happened 100-120 years ago.

  6. If you consider the number of years the school was in operation then do the math
    to learn how many died per year the number becomes much less alarming.
    But that might harm the narrative! Also consider that child mortality rates among
    the general population were much much higher before and after the turn of the century.
    There were a lot more diseases that killed children even up into the 30’s, 40’s and even
    the 50’s. It would be interesting to see a comparison.

    1. 79 years in operation plus another ten years as a day school. 2.7 deaths per year, assuming no one died during the last ten years as a day school. Hm.

  7. The Washington Post has already had to retract their initial article which called this discovery a … “mass grave” … implying the burial was like Nazis bulldozing dead Jews into open pits.

    Now they call it an “unmarked” grave. Yeah, the wooden crosses rotted after a hundred years and no one maintained them. Duh. Sorry the gov’t. didn’t carve marble markers? I like to travel throughout “historic” California, and actually spent time taking “rubbings” from many a headstone in the Gold Country of CA (yeah, that’s actually a ‘thing’). And what did I find at the ollld graveyards? Children. Lots of children. At least HALF of any graveyard was filled with children. Why? Because they died from bee stings. They died from rubella. They died from hundreds of causes that are non-existent today. Where are the tears for these children of the white “settlers”?

    These stories are targeted at the average low-information, emoting, citizen. Ohhhhhh mo’mmmmmaaaaa … white man baaaaaad mmmKay!? How dare they try to help natives assimilate to the NEW culture. How insensitive of those evildoers … Right? WRONG!! Stop interpreting history from a 2021 perspective. Doing so is simply ignorant.

  10. And let me note something about our current culture … which is SO in need of a Famine (not a FAKE pandemic) …

    None of us DIE from bee stings anymore. We don’t die from chickenpox, Rubella, The mumps, Polio, Smallpox, or compound fractures. We don’t die from infected wounds. We don’t die from anything … most notably … starvation. We don’t die from exposure (either extreme cold, or FAKE global warming heat). Why? Well … because of the white man and his rayscist math, college, hospitals, science, technology, and whatnot.

    BTW … why do the Native people’s of today “accept” the white man’s hospitals and medicine … but not Residential Schools of long ago? Neither adhere to “Native culture or beliefs”. Both are/were intended to HELP Native peoples.

    Back to our current culture. 1. We have an entirely WRONG perspective on History and historical events. Because … 2. We have NO worries. We are soooooo pampered, and free of any want or need in our current culture that we sit around inventing catastrophes. Literally inventing FAKE outrage over historical events that cannot be changed. And then applying the shallow emotional “guilt” to everyone with European heritage (I guess the Hindus are exempted). And applying shallow emotional “guilt” to anyone who every carried or actually read the Christian Bible.

    “Systemic” racism … riiiiiight. We’re ALL racists! because of a cultural norm long left in the rear view mirror of our current culture. Well … except … good lemming leftists are not “racists” because they want to give YOUR $$ money to the “victims” … several generations removed … of “systemic racism”. Note how “reparations” are being distributed without any Congress voting for any such thing.

    We are in DESPERATE need of a Famine.

    Perhaps a famine caused by GMO plants and animals … that’ll make the pearl clutching leftists happy.

    When is the White Man getting Reparations and a crawling apology for the MILLIONS the Indians poisoned and murdered through addiction to Tobacco.
    Many many Millions all over the world died long painful deaths of cancers because of tobacco. Why Is This Treated Differently than say smallpox. Even tho the global deaths by the Indians Tobacco Genocide is in the Hundreds of Millions.

    The man who was convicted of building and setting both bombs, Inderjit Singh Reyat, spent more time in prison for the perjury he was found guilty of committing during his trial, than for the actual 331 murders but he never betrayed the terrorist cause. When given his release by the parole board in 2017 terrorist experts were appalled.
    “It also sends a bad message out there to potential terrorists, that even when you’re caught, you can keep your mouth shut, lie and we’ll still let you out.”.

  15. This whole Kamloops thing was a planned, orchestrated and choreographed set up. Maybe has something to do with that phoney UNDRIP crap (which, by the way conflicts with the Charter). It certainly got a school name in Calgary changed fast…..almost as fast as I redirected my school portion of my property taxes.

    1. That undrip thing was given to the natives in BC, by the minority ndpee gov. With no input from the people. I doubt it would survive a court challenge.
