The Health Services department of the Peel Region of Ontario thought it perfectly fine to lock little children alone in their rooms for 2 weeks:
But now they appear to be changing their tune. How can this be though? After all, this advisory came from the “brilliant” government experts. This wasn’t a mere typo but rather a document that must have gone past the eyes of many people in this department. As they frequently tell us, all such decisions are “based on data & science”. So now they’re no longer following the data & science?!?

The average age of mortality ‘with’ Covid (as very few actually die ‘of’ Covid) is higher than the age of life expectancy. As of late last year we were on a typical trajectory for annual mortality in our population. The people who died, as unfortunate as that is, were already living on borrowed time. Most likely had Do Not Resuscitate orders in place before covid hit.
Young people are at a virtual zero for any adverse affects of the Covid flu. They have paid the price of our short-sighted response, despite having almost no susceptibility to the virus.
We had done this exactly backward – holding the majority of our population and our entire economy (except government) hostage to a disease that has virtually no adverse affects on them. We should have take steps to protect the aged and medically vulnerable and had the rest of society march on, taking whatever precautions individuals and businesses believed necessary.
Governments across Canada have continually lied to us. They have known the truth in detail since last summer.
We have never come close to full capacity at our hospitals – which was the original justification for lockdowns. Constantly locking down society in the face of short term promises has been a lie.
Government has lost the consent of the governed.

Someone needs to be fired over this, and I do not buy their “correction” of the original statement, saying they meant isolate with a care-giver. Most “caregivers” are Moms. Many work and many have other children to look after. These people are totally stupid. Dangerously stupid.
