On the fifth day of Christmas

On the fifth day of Christmas, Uncle Boris sent to me
No pubs open after 11pm (while Covid sleeps),
A guarantee of bankruptcy for decades,
A promise of no fun ever again,
Thousands of dead grandparents, and
A never-ending lockdown for me but not he

  1. Nothing keeps time better or has a greater knowledge of geography than the virus.

  2. They are trying to shut down after hours parties. I don’t think that the kinds of people who attend these parties are big on obeying curfews though, and it’s a huge imposition on the law abiding people who actually do honor them.

Not to mention that the young people at these parties are at minimal risk from the virus. They may as well catch it and get it over with and join the immune for a while.

  3. Why do people listen to these corrupt Government dictates in the first place ? No science and no data to back up the Governments abusive dictatorial behaviour yet people blindly follow the dictates. People must suspect that Governments are lying to them, they must, so why do they obey the dictates and edicts so eagerly… Why do people accept the Government and Media unaccountability ? I guess people have become so emasculated, so stupid and so unnecessarily fearful that they are now a bovine mob of moral cowards unwilling to stand up and fight back against the growing tide of tyranny. Surely people must know that this tyranny will not stop until they fight back or die, or maybe they don”t … I despair for the human race… fools and cowards being led around by the worst people humanity has ever produced.

  4. Liberals absolutely love this. Not in a political sense, but simply ruminating over these details without giving it another thought; and an overarching heartfelt sense that government cares for everyone.

And then telling everyone who will listen how the rules apply, that’s their greatest pleasure.

    So annoying.
