He recently sent a letter to Alberta Premier Kenney:
The evidence that you provided for this lockdown is both suspect and incomplete and does a disservice to Albertans who deserve more from you. A major tenet of the Hippocratic Oath that physicians like myself ascribe to is “First Do No Harm”, which is ignored by this imposed lockdown.
I acknowledge with reverence those Albertans who have passed on from COVID-19, just as I acknowledge many others like Jerry Dunham who have died because lockdowns prevented their access to healthcare for very serious non-COVID-19 illnesses and conditions. I acknowledge the many with despair who have died from suicide and drug overdose. We now know that lockdowns are more lethal than COVID-19, and must learn from what has transpired to ensure we do not continue to make the same mistakes. Were you not informed of these facts, or did you simply ignore them?

As a doctor(scientist) he should speak directly to Dr Hinshaw, who can respond with proper scientific references. I have no problem that he questions the decisions, but do have issue with approach. Also 300 doctors signed a letter last week to “do more” , and he is just 1, saying “do less”

I also came across an open letter to BC’s provincial health officer Bonnie Henry as well.
Neither in this letter nor the one to Bonnie Henry did I learn anything I hadn’t already known via internet searches, SDA and other reliable blogs. SO, it’s safe to say that Henry and her colleagues in other provinces know this too and have probably received dozens of letters from highly qualified health practitioners and scientists.
Conclusion: These earnest open letters are utterly futile. Health outcomes are simply not part of the agenda. The comments above about hydroxchloriquine prove this. I did get a chuckle out of all the letters after his name … as if!!

That’s the kind of detail people understand, the statistics mortality and morbidity for Cancer and Heart disease surface over time.
The lowered quality of life, lower health and shortened lifespan by marriage break-up for the spouses and children caused by a combination of the effects of the lockdowns and loss of employment, which hits small business owners in a community the hardest. Difficult to measure with a PCR test.
The human cost to a populace legislated/panicked in one long anxiety attack will last a long time. Children prevented from imprinting of normal social interaction but rather taught to fear it. Will they ever fully recover ?

The stats on human and financial costs will only mount higher.

If you want to know why we have so many “cases” you just have to see how high the Tc cutoff is for some provinces. Some labs in Ontario run as high as 45 cycles.
Dwayne, positive tests are considered cases even if the test is a false positive or the person has zero symptoms. And you are correct the cycles are far too high.
