You may have already heard about Alina Chan, but there are many other people, out of the spotlight, who deserve credit. They have been working tirelessly this year: reading academic papers, exploring barely known databases, sifting through Chinese media outlets. Their work place is Twitter. Some of them are professional scientists, others have different backgrounds, many use pseudonyms. They have a tendency to ask uncomfortable questions, and probably for this reason they are often blocked by other scientists and accused of promoting conspiracy theories. You may disagree with their unconvential approach, but the truth is that these people behave, to all intents and purposes, like a small scientific community: they search and analyze data, they share and discuss their findings and, more importantly, they make discoveries.

Well, I do not think this was a planned bio-attack on the world. I think:
1. The Chinese had been playing around with the virus for military and medical reasons.
2. It escaped by accident.
3. The local Wuhan CCP covered up because this is what bureaucrats do.

If you say there’s no problem, you’re a denier or, as Brian Pallister liked to put it, “an idiot”. If you refuse to wear a mask, you make people “uncomfortable”. If you express skepticism or object to wearing a face diaper, you’re belligerent. If people attack you for holding such views or being bare-faced, you’re disrespectful.

I printed “Live Free or Die” on one of my “official” masks (“official” as it’s one of the ubiquitous and useless ones that most people wear and which was forced upon me). On another I put “sic semper tyrannis” (thus it always is with tyrants–and, yes, Dear Leader is one). On a third, I simply put “666”. Let’s see if anybody twigs on that one.
I like the idea but I doubt too many Canadians know the quote’s . I had the option of latin or french when in school, I opted for latin, of which I remember very little, in fact I think I know more french. Oh well.

True. I have had family and interests in both countries most of my life. In the past decade that has become less relevant to my life. Family and friends pass away and business interests have to be folded up. Oh well, this whu who flu may just be the last thing that pushes me away from the little that is left. I once made the comment that I hoped I would not be a old man when things started to break down, as I did indeed see things changing, I missed the mark. A courageous, aggressive young man can work to turn things around , I no longer have the time, and it isn’t because I am too busy.

When you look at Zhengli Shi, and I did back in March…this woman was involved for near 10 years researching deadly Viral agents including proposals to modify some for whatever CCP reason…and her prior papers suggested exactly that.
