  1. I thought that summed his worldview quite succinctly. Having been one who bought votes with the stolen loot of the unborn for a living, he sees no reason why that isn’t how everything works. That he can charge a hundred grand for such drivel puts him in the same game as Obama and the Clintons for the rest of his life – far removed from the common man. He was a teddy bear for the Eloi.

  2. Poor Justin got Mad Maggie’s looks & hair but unfortunately he also got her brain and none of Pierre’s intellect got passed on to him.
    Like him or hate him, at least Pierre was an intellectual force to be reconned with. What is especially funny about this is for the idiot king, Justin to be lecturing about finances and economics …. a subject upon which he was a nitwit ie “budgets balance themselves”.

        to me it boiled down to defying human nature. they werent even happy with ‘enlightened self interest’, seeing as SELF was an integral part of that world view. nah nah nah, ’twas the ‘new man’ glorifying all things socialist/marxist/marxist-leninist/communist and with the advent of all the variants THEN l finally clued in:
        ’twas ALL AND ONLY a vehicle to obtaining POWER, a sales pitch to the grunts and useful idiots and unwashed ‘proletariat’ who among other things, needed to provide the free labour to build that structures, mine the resources, all the ACTUAL wealth generation ‘stuff’ central to free enterprise, except under communism the exploitation was integral and ALWAYS part of the plan.
        as such, an iron clad SOCIAL STRUCTURE, (in the heyday of the USSR life’s ultimate objective was to JOIN THE PARTY) the *very thing* supposedly being displaced. and, AND whereby the dirty little secret crept back in: human nature, part of which is to favour one’s own lineage.
        the Kim dynasty N Korea, the Castro dynasty Coooba. no doubt multiple times in Chirer they just dont make the news.
        and, sho ’nuff: Canaduh via the TURDeau lineage, our very own communist dynasty. just need to open our eyes and LOOK at it.

    5. Pierre Trudeau was a good example of the difference between educated and intelligent. He was a classic example of a fourth-rate mind with a first-rate education. Such a man often has the advantage over a first-rate mind with a third-rate education, and of course Trudeau was dealing with Toronto journalists, over whom he towered intellectually, dumb as he was. Maggie had no more education than a housecat but she was more or less average intelligent, and Pierre was in awe of her. She definitely had the brains in the family.
