  1. Information technology has advanced incredibly while those involved and associated are examples of retrograde humanity. Think of the educational opportunities lost to social media. Millennial group think is mind numbingly depressing.

  3. Does anyone use Facebook for anything relevant or important any more? Is it not on its way to becoming the new version of Myspace?

    1. I gave up my account when I found out they were using my account to manipulate my feelings. Anyone who has a Facebook account is leaving themselves wide open to all kinds of manipulation and fakery. My life has been much less stressful since getting rid of my Facebook account.

      1. It wasn’t until the EU passed their right to vanish laws that I was able to delete my Facebook account.

        Years of trying and every time someone tagged me in a photo facadebook would “welcome me back”.

        I’m told the only real way to get your account vanished is for your executor to send them your death certificate.

  4. Well… info controlling gigantics like Facebook will eventually control US elections, as will fraudulent mail in ballots.
    The Australian system is a peach. Their Electoral Commission mans every school and church hall and voting place in the country. Every ballot is marked in person with a pencil, every ballot is counted onsite, with official scrutineers from all the political parties observing. No-one can arrive anywhere with boxes or “new” ballots. Can’t happen.
    Analogue is vastly superior….. your digital world means a subsidiary of Facebook will one day control the vote.

      In Person
      On a paper Ballot
      In secret
      With Proof of Citizenship

      What Should be…..the norm.,
      Anything that deviates from those requirements is a Communist/Nazi attempt at FRAUD.

    4. It used to be like that in the USA. Big cities had their own special ways of corrupting the system, but precinct judges could check their counts against the county wide summaries.

    I realize they are the Monopolies of the Social Media platforms, but there must be some decent upstarts somewhere that could be promoted more on Conservative sights……………….

  7. When I was involved as a scrutineer we sat at the table and could challenge anyone who came forward to vote. We observed the mechanics of the voting process. When the votes were counted we had full view of that process and could challenge any ballet that was suspect to intent. Our site usually had 3 polls. After the count the ballots were sealed and we had the results which we phoned into our Reform riding HQ. Excellent process. Pumping results with phantom tally boxes would have been almost impossible as party HQ would have had the results already.

    Having people present as scrutineers is critical and a responsibility that citizens should take on. In our riding we had about 80% coverage and were often the only party that had anyone present. When the DNC advocates for mail in ballots the red flags go off IMHO. It is very obviously susceptible to fraud. No doubt in my mind the LPC and NDP will want the same opportunity.

    1. Yes ct, physical ballots and on-site scrutiny of the balloting process is absolutely vital to the process, if it is to be fair. I have worked many elections as, among other positions, a scrutineer. Once, when I was assigned to more than one polling station, I challenged an individual whom I had seen vote at another poll sometime earlier. She ran. It was but one of many irregularities observed. And in talking with others who have worked the polling places, fraud is not uncommon. But the left seems not to have the same sense of honour or fairness.

    2. The everyday people are not interested in elections, you may have a hard time to get them to vote.
      Working for local, provincial and federal elections in the deep south center in the land of lotus eaters, you could not get a scrutineer if you paid for it.

      People in the land of lotus eaters are mostly living something parallel to friction motored toy.
      There are of course normal people though they are minority.

  8. When you listen to the ideological control freaks, they actually have no ideas of their own. They basically repeat the nonsense that they are ordered from the ideological brainwashing sessions with the head ideologues.

    From what one can tell about MAGA, there is no ideology, it’s simply people doing something to make the country better for everyone.

    You can possibly see in it something that the ideologues can twist into pretzels and make it look like something that make sense to those that know very little or nothing about dicktatorship, (sic), totalitarian, despotic politics that these same ideologues promote as the final product while telling their underlings that it is democracy, which of course it is not.
    What it is, is socialism, fascism, national socialism, communism and other forms of totalitarian diktat that these large corporations promote.

  11. I’ve never been on Facquebook … ever. But my wife is. She reads me all the “news” headlines she receives, which are 100% anti-Trump. She asks … “did Trump really close 3,000 polling places in Kentucky”? That was one of her “news feeds” last week. Yes … de Marxists are trying everything possible to stop PDJT’s inevitable re-election. Cheating at the ballot box, or assassination are their only options left.
