A Minneapolis manufacturing company whose plant was set on fire by rioters plans to leave the city, saying that city officials afforded them no assistance in handling the destruction.
“They don’t care about my business,” 7-Sigma Inc.’s president and owner, Kris Wyrobek, told The Star Tribune about Minneapolis public officials. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”
Abusiness that provided employment to the people who’s city neighbourhood was destroyed. Clearly black lives don’t matter to some people.
Really, I don’t know why rioters can’t be shot dead in the streets by the cops? This is a war, and they are the weapon.
I’m sure somebody’s going to moan that the company’s pulling up stakes and moving is another example of white privilege.
The result isn’t just the jobs that are disappearing. Those who are now unemployed may have families. All those people spend money, so the businesses they deal with will also be affected. Those firms will now have reduced revenue, and the effects go from there.
Why would these businesses spend millions rebuilding again when their investment will be abandoned, again, when the looters and rioters come back?
Why would any business open in Minneapolis? It’s not really possible in an environment when the feelings of the looters of the business are the priority for protection.
Does not fee like is really no place for business in Liberal utopia – only government, control and justice.

Well it can only get worse for businesses if they de-nut the police force.

By the 1990s most of the Whites and small businesses had left and set up shop in what had 50 years earlier been small farm towns, farms, apple and cherry orchards just outside of the city. Today, Detroit is home to welfare recipients, criminals and low-ranking municipal employees (you won’t see municipal government executives living there by choice). Nobody wants to live in Detroit…NOT EVEN THE BLACKS AND THEIR PROGENY WHO DESTROYED THE CITY.

I receive a monthly e-mail from Minnesota Tourism. We were considering some summer time in a cooler clime than hot, humid Oklahoma. The title of this issue: “How to visit Minnesota safely”. As for me, it’s not gonna happen, chuck.
Minnesota is wonderful and very safe outside the Twin Cities. The Northern Minnesota Lakes are full of fish and wildlife . Visit the North Shore (of Lake Superior) which is always cool and naturally air conditioned.
Stop in Owatonna or Lakeville heading North, and then don’t stop until you reach Hinckley.

Many times, a card carrying conservative for decades, who was on nominating committees and involved before Mulroney came along. I divorced myself from the party years ago as there was not a single damn conservative among them. I was one of 1200 who voted against Mulroney.

I lost faith in the Conservatives at about the same time you did. I was out of work, like many during the early 1980s, and neither party seemed particularly interested in a proper solution.
Provincially, I lost faith in the Alberta PCs when Don Getty was premier. He was more interested in currying favour with his oil industry buddies than in enacting policies that would put people like me back to work.
The only time I voted Conservative after that was 5 years ago. A fat lot of good that did me.

Looking ahead: What happens if Chauvin is only convicted of 3rd degree murder (like Mohamad Noor, who shot Justine Damond dead), or worse, is acquitted? Will that be enough to appease the mob? What about the three officers charged with aiding and abetting the murder? Remember the 1992 LA Riots started AFTER the police were acquitted of the Rodney King beating. I pray the trials end in a January or February blizzard.
I don’t think Democrat Governor Walz is smart enough or caring enough to bring back the National Guard again until the mobs riot AGAIN for at least two full days. The inner suburbs will all fervently hope there are enough rebuilt businesses in Minneapolis and Saint Paul for the mobs to sate themselves on, else the suburbs may be on the menu immediately.
