Is there a precis so I don’t have to listen to a climate hysteric jabber on for 15 minutes?
Create a problem, offer a solution, $$$$$$ changes hands.
We were certainly asleep when warned about that coming ice age, peak oil, and mass starvation. We should have listened but now we’re all dead.
To be serious, would it not have been more beneficial had the international community gotten together to fight, I dunno, pandemics from communist bioresearch labs? Now we know what getting hit in the face with a *real* catastrophe is like.
Well, since this wasn’t a real catastrophe, we actually don’t, but whatevs.

We’re not bad at listening to warnings about disaster. We are bad at evaluating risk, and when we’re constantly deluged with people crying wolf about disasters that never happen, we tend to discount all warnings rather than evaluate each of them on their merits.

A lot of people make a good living inventing imaginary threats—the Jewish problem, climate change.
They never recognize real threats until those threats are napalming their cities every night. By then, it’s usually too late to do much but decide whether dying on your feet or living on your knees is more to your taste.
Our elites will go on denying reality until they outlive their usefulness to the Red Emperor. The smart ones will then follow Adolf Hitler to hell. The rest will be sent to the re-education camps behind their slaves—to re-emerge in a provincial wet market, perhaps, for sale as cut-rate pork.
But the world will be rid of capitalism and Jews. So that’s all right then.

That we all become activists who elect the politicians and donate money that his think tank … which admires Janet Napolitano … who declared right wing Nazi hate groups to be more dangerous than Muslim Terrorists … tells us to support? All with a (D) after their name!?
Sorry. The REALLY SCARY part of this Typically Leftist TED Speech is that this man and his think tank are trying to create a PERMANENT state of FEAR … a PERMANENT state of Crisis. Then … we can all simply “accept” that we must turn our lives over to his group of really smart people (how does that group include an “Academy Award Winner”!? … I thought this was the smartest think tank ever conceived!?).
What we are learning across the nation … right NOW! in REAL TIME … is that when we the people concede our liberty … our freedom … and our jobs … for a short period of time … because of erroneous predictions by scientists and data jockeys at the CDC … the basic FASCIST Democrat Leaders seize that opportunity to remove even MORE Freedoms from the people.
Sorry. We may need to harden our electrical grid against attack … but We The People certainly need to retain our LIBERTY in the face of any possible “crisis”. We The People will take the appropriate steps to protect ourselves … the government is the WORST possible group of retards to ever “help” the people. And it certainly won’t be some half assed self important leftist think tank that will “save” us.
I’ll face the “alien attack” on my own … same as I’ve dealt with the illegal alien attack here in CA.
