  1. I haven’t watched Bill Maher for almost two decades. I have no intention to start again.
    He may say the odd thing I agree with. He is still a far-left liberal fascist.

      Agreed, he’s a far-left whackadoodle hyena. Displays the same smarmy quasi-intellectualism as the PMSNBC zealots.
      But he’s staunchly pro-Israel and rails against BDS…….and he’s defending male behaviour too, instead of falling in line as a progressive beta-male Soi boi…….I wouldn’t call him a contradiction, just another quirky leftist.
      Anyone familiar with Q, knows Maher has been called out as EVIL. He’s a member of the Red Shoes club, for what that entails………
      Maher is the reason I avoided for HBOfor so long, only subscribing for the disappointing last season of GoT. Cut the service immediately after, never to go back.

I take it as a sign of the over-politicization of life because the big problems have mostly been solved, so now the little ones need to be elevated because people need something to worry about. I find that I can’t enjoy the humour of Jim Carrey, Wanda Sykes, Lewis Black, and others anymore because I try to look at their “jokes” through their worldview, and it adds a level of horror to what they’re saying.

      I wish they could just be comedians, and provide commentary, instead of being woke.

    3. I agree.. I do not like BM, CamelFaced libscum, but when women complain about being looked at and commented to after spending hours doing hair and makeup.. well……They in general are responding to OLD GUYS.. .. If the commenter was some young attractive guy..

  4. They are pissed and scared because the monster they created is coming after them and they are not use to defending themselves against it. The best part however is to listen to them play the victim and carry on about how unfair it all is, now.

    And what value that might be to productive persons?

    But his stance and attitude against ISLAM is one that is totally at odds with the Liberal Lefts fascination & love of all thing’s Islamic.

    1. Plus, in the movie Maher has very little criticism of Islam, with a huge amount devoted to criticizing Christianity.

  12. Bernie saw fit to defend Fidel Castro. Well Bill Maher never had anybody executed. Thus his norms well within acceptable liberal standards.

  14. He is unashamedly left but he isn’t woke enough and while they will come for him, he won’t be cancelled. He’s immune.

    From his politically incorrect days he had always challenged this kind of BS. It’ll be great for his ratings.

    If he is cancelled it will because he needs a break and gets a huge payout.

  15. Maher overestimates the cohesion of the right but as one who marinates in the leftist swamp he is obviously at odds with the snowflake element. He is still sometimes funny but I can’t be bothered watching him.

  16. Maher used to be funny in his Politically Incorrect days. Then the show got cancelled because some idiots on the right threw a massive temper tantrum over his choice of words in the post 911 era. And so he declared a never ending jihad on the right.

    He isn’t stupid. He can be quite funny. As far as leftists go he is of the least repulsive kind. And he is one of the handful who can honestly claim that the right did him an injustice.

    On the other hand his legitimization of black grievances and dismissal of racism against whites is repulsive.

  17. A stopped clock is right twice a day. Bill M, likewise, is right on occasion. I agree with him occasionally but his is no friend of the right. Ironically, it won’t be conservatives who send him to the guillotine, it’ll be progressives.

  18. Love him or hate him Maher was not afraid to engage in debate.
    He has his position on a lot of things where he comes down on the liberal side, but he will give those on the right a chance to present their side even if he uses it to roast them in the process.
    I still remember the treatment he gave Freeland when she appeared on his show expecting he would be a cheerleader.

  20. Let me get this straight. Bill Maher, a biting satirist and comedian specializing in shock and outrage, said something that was moderately shocking and slightly outrageous. And now lots of people are outraged because of Bill Maher’s outrage.

    Let me get another thing straight. We’re talking about a comedian here, right? Not a bishop, or a supreme court judge, or a high-ranking politician. A comedian.

    Clearly I’m missing something.

    2. Chris: Ya, well I’m thinking the same as your are at the present moment. Maher still has a 4 out of 5 star rating on his show. He’s in the 18th season. And I have a hard time believing that an American guy who likes to tell racist jokes and talks against feminists is being labelled a ”far left liberal…
