    1. Nah, that’s their firing squad loading. They can’t tolerate her failure, so under the bus she goes.

    1. One need only listen to a broadcast from Radio Havana Cuba to know that it’s all a load of rubbish. One could have come to similar conclusions by hearing similar broadcasts from any other communist country when their respective stations were on the air.

During the early to mid-1980s, RHC put a strong signal into the western part of Canada. I remember how its programming started with a line that went something like: “You are listening to Radio Havana from Cuba, free territory of America.” According to RHC, America and Canada were one huge prison with its inhabitants yearning to be liberated. Of course, there weren’t any massive boatlifts from Florida to Cuba during that time.

Meanwhile, the Americans had started a counter-propaganda service called Radio Marti, which was supported by the government. It was in the same group as stations such as Radio Liberty, Radio Free Europe, and the Voice of America. It originally broadcast radio programming into Cuba but later added TV. Needless to say, reception of those signals did not meet with Castro’s approval.

  1. Bloc head leader in Quebec stated that the Appeals Court ruled for the Trans Mountain Pipeline because the judges are biased. Of course this is in addition to their daily rants in Question Period against energy projects in Alberta.

    1. Easy, cut funding till they do.
      A full accounting.
      Then fire half them.
If they complain, fire half again.

  2. “Serious Looking” Justin’s Greenpeace Heritage Minister wants more money and an expanded mandate for the CBC. Because we need more award winning shows like Little Mosque On The Prairie, Family Feud, and Fridge Wars. Did I mention Justin’s new “Serious Look”?

  3. Brace for a global crisis …

    https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Brace-For-A-Global-Crisis-In-2020.html

“Changes in the fundamental sociological framework of global society, due to the end of the population growth cycle – and with it the end of the economic growth cycle based on expanding market size – were beginning to become evident by the beginning of 2020.”

This is a very under-reported problem. The big bulge of baby boomers (’58 – ’62) will retire en masse starting in 2022 which will tilt the teeter-totter in the other direction for the first time since the 1950s. And these fat old boomers are unprepared, both financially and physically for the bumpy ride.

For governments it will be the beginning of years of ever less tax money to waste on taxpayers and themselves. This will propel the Bernie Sanders types into the seats of political power. Wanting more and getting less, year after year for decades…

  4. Millennial/Gen Zed (don’t know, don’t care) tool James Potok, he of the “coronavirus in flight announcement”, publicly says he did this as a stunt he VIDEOED to “go viral” as he is an “upcoming hip hop artist” (check out his photo). Now realizes it was, perhaps, not the best COA:

Two drunk Britons recently given THIRTY DAYS in jail in Canada for drunken rant that forced a Canadian plane to divert. Also ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution. Each…

    1. Considering that the government is not liable for any incorrect advice from its tax agents, let ’em strike.

  5. Looks good on that pink robed Moron.
Start yer career with a crimianal record & 100k in the shitter..??
    Brilliant ….& I like it.

  6. Another half dozen flights arrived in the States from China today. Meanwhile even Blackie’s loyal, drooling media is admitting that the flight to get Canadians home is turning into a mess. Confusion about when people should arrive at the airport, delays in departure dates, and lack of information. I guess the commies are not impressed with Blackie’s new beard and serious look.

  7. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. Canada’s national communist magazine Maclean’s interviews Desmond Cole who explains that everything about Canada is racist. And the Toronto Liberal Party media is excited that Chinese restaurants are getting together on a promotion, to bring customers back because of the racist attitudes of Canadians. No word on whether bats will be served.

  8. Things I never knew about The Day The Music Died:

Jiles Perry Richardson, age 28, AKA The Big Bopper, had his start as a hilarious and energetic radio D.J. and was famous for “Chantilly Lace” – the third most-played radio song of 1958. The Big Bopper wasn’t supposed to be on the plane. He was sick with the flu, so he asked Buddy Holly’s bassist if he would allow him to replace him the flight so he could rest and have time to see a doctor once they landed. That bassist became a superstar in his own right, Waylon Jennings. His life was saved because he agreed to help out a sick friend.

When Holly learned that Jennings wasn’t going to fly, he said, “Well, I hope your old bus freezes up.” Jennings responded, “Well, I hope your plane crashes.” This friendly banter of friends would haunt Jennings for years.

  9. How many people realize that although the politicians in Ottawa like to think they eliminated capital punishment by voting down the death penalty, they really just replaced it with another death penalty where innocent Canadians are the victims?

    https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/lilley-trudeaus-liberals-need-to-denounce-those-who-set-killer-free#comments

And the reason why OTTAWA is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE DEATHS is what JP Goyer, Pierre’s AG, said in 1971.
“Citing the high cost of incarceration, Goyer said: ‘The present situation results from the fact that the protection of society has received more emphasis than the rehabilitation of the inmates. Consequently, we have decided from now on to stress the rehabilitation of the offenders, rather than the protection of society.'”

In the first 5 years after this was done 1970 to 1975, thirty seven parolees killed over 50 people. But it did not phase Pierre’s sick and twisted social engineers one bit.
Checking the Canadian Police website, the latest data shows that there is still about one innocent person per month being killed by these get-out-of-prison free murderers.

The Ottawa toilet bowl swirls around and around.

Another item to be fixed by Western Canada.

  10. From Breitbart….
    —————–
Canadian Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault has stated that news websites, along with social media companies, could be forced to obtain government licences to operate in Canada.

The minister, who has been tasked with updating Canada’s broadcasting laws using the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), stated that internet news sites will be “asked” to obtain a government-approved licence, broadcaster CTV reports.

The report, entitled “Canada’s communications future: Time to act”, was released on January 29th and included 97 recommendations. It details how the CRTC would be vastly expanded to not only regulate radio and television broadcasters but news websites as well.

“If you’re a distributor of content in Canada and obviously if you’re a very small media organisation the requirement probably wouldn’t be the same if you’re Facebook, or Google. There would have to be some proportionality embedded into this,” he said during a CTV interview.

  11. And of course, when the Ottawa ‘no capital punishment’ gubmint randomly lets killers out on the loose, the police need to load also.

    https://o.canada.com/news/national/canadian-police-forces-bulking-up-with-armoured-vehicles/comment-page-1

Wow, I had no idea that life in Nova Scotia was so ruff.

As a wise man said some while ago, ‘The only difference between a Liberal govt in Ottawa and a Banana Republic, is that Canada doesn’t grow the bananas.’

  12. Does anyone fully understand the emerging practice of “tele-doctoring” when the actual, licensed doctor is not present in the room with the patient, but attends via Skype after a “doctor’s assistant” interviews the patient and takes some notes?
I have recently gone to a walk-in clinic and been seen by that “doctor’s assistant”, who had never mentioned that they were not actually a doctor. I only learned about that when I read the prescription and found a completely different name in the signature. When I inquired with the receptionists later, then advised me that I have been seen by an “assistant”.
Since then the “assistants” at that clinic started calling the doctors on Skype before writing a prescription.
Can this be legal in Canada in general and in Ontario in particular?
Is the “assistant” licensed to practice medicine? Are they bound by the same rules as doctors? What would happen to their career if they violated patient’s privacy?
Does anyone actually care that there may be “god knows whos” in the medical offices, taking patient’s symptoms and touching patient’s bodies without having any medical credentials?

    1. Take a look at the dental therapist program in western Alaska. Because much of the population is located in remote villages, an appointment to see a dentist could mean a trip of several days. Patients would have to go to Bethel, which is located inland and is accessible only by boat or plane.

A number of minor procedures are handled by dental therapists. Often, many of those villages send one of their own to school to learn the necessary skills and that person returns home to practice. If something like a tool extraction is necessary, the therapist consults with a dentist in Bethel via satellite. More specialized treatment would require an actual visit.

For that region of the world, it’s a matter of practicality due to the population distribution. Many of those villages have, at most, a few hundred people, so a resident physician or dentist would be rare.

      1. Apples and oranges. Alasca does not equal Ontario, and the dental patient privacy is nowhere near that of an MD patient’s.

Did you seriously believe, when posting, that your reply was relevant?

    1. Haw haw. The article, which is clearly very heavily-influenced by CAGW-alarmism (BBC, amirite?), poses the question “What about ‘future fuels’ like hydrogen?”

Guess what you get when you burn hydrogen as fuel? – water vapour. Only water vapour, and lots and lots of it.

And guess what is far-and-away the most prominent greenhouse gas in our atmosphere? – that’s right, water vapour.

I would’ve mentioned this in the article’s comments, but the BBC (surprise, surprise) doesn’t allow comments. After all, they already know everything – so why would the BBC waste their time listening to we, the Great Unwashed? They’re there to proselytize us – not the other way around.

  13. Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau is leaving boring Canada at six pm tomorrow, as he burns jet fuel to Africa. He has his black makeup and bone for his nose packed, as he throws money around the continent to get that UN security seat. His taxpayer funded official photographer will be on hand to take wonderful pictures of the natives admiring his cool beard, ruffled hair, and very serious look.

    1. Oh, darn.

Thanks to Turner Classic Movies, I discovered some of his earlier movies. Among my favourites are Out of the Past (one of the best films noir ever made) and The Big Sky (a pre-western western about fur traders going to the headwaters of the Missouri).

One of his favourite collaborators was Burt Lancaster. They made a number of movies, including Gunfight at the OK Corral (watch for deForest Kelly and Dennis Hopper in that one) and Seven Days in May (my favourite). I think their last one was the mid-1980s Tough Guys.

Also, watch for him in the John Wayne WW II epic In Harm’s Way, in which he plays a U. S. Navy officer in a Pacific island campaign.

Farewell, sir, and we thank you.

      1. It just occurred to me that he also made at least two more movies with the Duke in the 1960s: The War Wagon and Cast A Giant Shadow.

Kirk Douglas worked with some of Hollywood’s greatest actors, such as Anthony Quinn (Lust for Life), Fredric March (Seven Days in May), Henry Fonda and Patricia Neal (In Harm’s Way), and Adolph Menjou (Paths of Glory).

He was directed by Stanley Kubrick in Paths of Glory and, later, in Spartacus. After the latter movie was finished, Kubrick decided to move to England.

  14. Why is everyone in Canada silent? Your only two parties (NDP does not count, thankfully) are the Honestly Liberal Marxist Party of Canada and Dishonestly Conservative Liberal Party of Canada, while you have liberal and conservative voting blocks. WTF?

Your conservative voting block is a shy, coward, and indifferent bunch of those, who for 100+ years have been going out of their way to prove to the government that they are a law-abiding, trustworthy, upstanding citizens. In return they have been shat upon, their rights have been more and more violated, and everyone who dared to speak, I mean, whisper back, had been railroaded. But this conservative bunch had never learnt their lessons!!! They are still going out of their way to prove, time and time again, that they are timid, coward, and indifferent.

Instead of screaming at the leadership of the CPC: “you, traitors and liars, keep screwing us over and using us as pawns in your highly unsuccessful political game”, the conservative crowd remains silent 99% of the time, except that 1% when they are allowed to go to the polls.

Here is a quote from the email that I had received on Feb 23, 2017. It was from Erin O’Toole’s campaign:

“An O’Toole government will repeal the Firearms Act and replace it with legislation developed through an expert-driven process that includes manufacturers, owners, and law enforcement.”

The dude could not win the race… Back in the day it felt sad. But now he turns and appoints a dude with UN and terrorist ties, whose religion mandates, under the threat of execution, that he must kill all non-muslims. This is grand, Erin!

But why is everybody silent??? Have the libs scared you that much???
