It was troubling watching the London Bridge knifing. Some crazy guy kills 2 people and injures others. Two guys disarm him (take away his knife), one guy with a tusk and the other with a fire extinguisher. Then the police show up (at least 4-5 of them) and they shoot the unarmed guy because they can’t get him under control. Not saying that the guy didn’t deserve to get shot. Just saying the Brits might want to replace their police force with volunteers and weapons from a pawn shop.

Jim, every trial takes at least 2-4 YEARS to come to the courts. I was on a jury selection for a murder where the defendant stabbed the man. The judge, after 2 days selection of the 14 jurors to sit on the trial, stated the trial would take 2 months. Why? It was simple, is the defendant identified as the murderer by witnesses and evidence. Yes. What a day at the outside.
This won’t change as the judges, lawyers, court officers etc. make an excellent living. If us citizens called to serve on a jury state we will not serve for endless months maybe it will change. The Chinese lady with the 5G extradition will have a court date in Canada starting in January and the procedure will take until October, 9 Months!
