Is that the creepiest kid on the face of the earth? If you look carefully I think you can see the puppet strings. There might be a real human behind this.

When I first saw her I immediately thought of Elizabeth Holmes from Theranos.

When I grew up in the 50’s, the fear that was instilled in us was the horror of nuclear holocaust. Especially from some of the black and white TV videos that showed kids hiding under a wooden desk with a school bag over their head while waiting for a Soviet missile to vaporize their (our) school. It all came to a head during the October Crisis of 1962 when the Americans set up a naval blockade and told the Soviets that the game was over, they were turning around and going back to Vladivostok. I believe that’s when the Russians found out that the Cold War was coming to an end.
In hindsight, they were scary times. I do have sympathy for Greta. I know the fear of living in a world where from one day to the next, you don’t know when it will all end. The people who should have their ass kicked are adults who fill children’s head with idiotic ideas, and all in the name of narcissistic thinking.
As I write this, on Sept. 28, 2019, the same people who, two weeks ago, were telling as that the earth was warming , icebergs were melting and our time on this planet was limited are now, today, predicting a snow storm. Go figure.
Gotta go change oil in the old John Deere snow blower. Talk to you later.

I was strangely unfazed by that. I lived in a big city, most likely one of the first targets in case of a nuclear war. I figured if it happened, it would be over in a hurry. There was no use worrying about it, since there was nothing you really could do.
I would think a global warming scenario, if true, would be much more disconcerting, with the Earth slowly turning into an oven. Imagine a degree rise a year, every year. Eventually everyone would die, and those who died later would suffer more as society gradually disintegrates. Luckily it is all a scam, and the scammers ought to at least be charged with child abuse.

Little Greta is a shoe-in if they do another remake of The Exorcist. It doesn’t say much about your cause when you hand it off to mal-educated, pampered juvenile brats.

I’d never bothered to hear this brat Greta speak until I clicked on the video – now I really understand the theatrical phrase “Chewing the scenery”.

Johnny X, you can be damn sure it has happened before, I have seen snow in July in Eastern Canada and winters with almost zero snow. Young Greta hasn’t got a clue and neither do any children. When we start taking advice from children we have a far more serious problem than whether or not the climate is doing what it has always done.
