    I think all high schools should have the right to do spot checks of students’ (children’s) social media accounts to ensure they comply with the school ethos. It would surely temper some of the crude behaviour & language on there. Your thoughts?

        Who agrees with the Paris Accords & thinks that CO2 induced warming is even a thing.
        Who supports MONOPOLIES (yes Dairy is but one of them, as are Airlines, Telecom and others that literally Fk Canadians over on a Monthly basis.)
        Who supports the reinstatement of Section 13 of the Human Rights commisions.
        Who publicly trashed his own MP for simply stating the Truth and in doing so, is in defacto in favour of the Islamization of this country, otherwise why would he kiss Islams (_i_)..??

    Trump or anyone else is not spokesman, negotiator or any such to speak for Canada to another government.

    As noted many times, there are well over a BILLION Chinese, nobody has to like it, nobody can do anything about it, nobody can tell them what the hell to do, especially some airhead drama queen. They fully recognize who they are dealing with and deal with him accordingly.

    What is sad that there are millions of Canadians* that think that the drama queen is cool and are going to vote for him.

    This does not bode well for the rest of Canadians*.

  3. When Justin loudly proclaimed that he loved communist China (as did his dad), people laughed. When Justin accepted Chinese money into his dad’s foundation (ergo, to him), no one batted an eyelid. Everyone thought China’s pet name (read: insult) for Justin was cute and even though he walked away with nothing, still had a good laugh.

    Now, with two morons who should have known better in Chinese prisons, a Huawei CFO among the entrenched classes in American sights and China taking potshots at Justin the weakling (whom Trump might have thought it would be good karma to bat for), the people who really get to own this colossal clusterfluck is us.

    How does a frat-boy who loves a communist human-rights abusing country get to be PM? Because stupid people allow it.

    He’s a joke in the international scene. Canada was once respected in the international scene. But even Europe, Philpines, Japan, And China think we are a joke.

    But Turdeau thinks he can win people over by dressing in traditional dress of Indians, Pakistanis, Mali’s etc as he learnt this in his training in Drama school.

    But he’s dealing with the big boys now and he’s nothing but a Petite Potato.

    Sad. and embarrassing for me as a Canadian Citizen. He has trouble getting meetings with ANY international countries.

  8. International affairs are similar to the school yard. While western leaders have looked the other way, China has become the schoolyard bully. Now that Trump is the first leader and now the only one of required stature to push back, Xi is feeling humiliated, lashing out at anyone of lessor stature, particularly poseur nations like Canada who lecture the Chi-coms on human rights while cowering under the military skirt of the US. The Spawn’s father was the asshole who dropped recognition of Taiwan in order to appease his comrades in Peking and what did it get us?

    Unless the Stalinist dictator backs down with the US (Canada has no leverage whatsoever), an unlikely scenario, a policy of isolation of China is the most likely direction with virtually all other Asian nations being given preferential treatment. World wars have resulted from similar situations.

  9. We need to be very careful in our choice in October. We know what we have is woefully incapable , in fact we might even say dangerously inept to the point of down right stupidity.

    Dealing with the leader/dictator of The People’s Republic of China will not be helped by voting for the People’s Party of Canada, we will simply hand Trudeau at least a minority and maybe even a majority. That will show the world we are collectively a stupid lot.

  10. I’ll throw this down as the solution to resolve the Chicom problem.
    But first, some logic and reasoning to support.
    First off, the Chicoms will not bargain in good faith, so any attempts to bargain with them as good faith partners is not worth the time wasted.
    Secondly, the reason we are getting hammered has everything to do with the prospect that Meng will end up in US custody and put on trial in a US court.
    The chance that she may or may not be convicted is moot, what they want is to protect the facade that Hauwai is a private corporation and definitely not a front for the communist party empire building.
    Now if you are in a situation where a bully is constantly taking your lunch money, and you want it to stop, what do you do?
    Retaliation can resolve it if you are capable of going mano a mano.
    But what if you are not?
    Then expect to be paying out dane geld until the cows come home.
    But there is another way to approach this. What is the one thing the Chicoms don’t want to happen?
    They will do anything to keep Meng out of US custody.
    But they will never bargain in good faith, so negotiating is out.
    What then?
    Simple, tell the Chicoms that if they don’t cease and desist trade retaliatory measures and release the Canadian
    nationals from detention within the next 24 hours, Meng will be extradited to the US immediately vis a ministerial order.
    This solution is of course wrought with political risk, however, as PM his first duty is to country and not party.
    Sort of comes with the job description.

    As if there is no political interference in the USA & Canada when it comes to the rule of law? Why is Clinton still not in jail?
    Meanwhile Freeland is OK with overthrowing democratically elected leaders in other countries.
    And we think we can go and arrest the daughter of one of China’s richest men and think there will be no fallout?

  13. Turdeau is a typical progressive. Not what you know but who you know. Always a shortcut. Canada under the Liebels is not a serious country. Trump knows that and so do the Chinese. Canadians live off the fat of their land without truly appreciating what they have. They are not prepared to defend it either militarily or economically. National sacrifice has been reduced down to paying a ‘carbon tax’ on everything. Laughable.

    Serious national debate does not happen. We will have another national election and I am certain no issues of real concern will be discussed. It will be a slugfest over which party can dole out enough goodies to enough voters to maintain their status. How it will be paid for is irrelevant. Politicians do not have to defend their spending as the people have been dumbed down enough that it doesn’t matter. Max sounds good but I remember Reform sounding even better. What happened? I certainly see many progressives joining the PPC in an effort to siphon CPC votes away from the CPC ability to form government. If the PPC survives the next election and actually starts to form riding associations that have real roles then I will reconsider.
