    1. Totalitarianism is coming. Eco lefties can’t abide the liberty of the individual to disagree, nor the profit of commerce they cannot steal, especially the wealthy ones like Bloomberg. These elites, like Suzuki, Wynne and Butts and Merkel, Obama and PM Turnip will never suffer a minute of inconvenience for their decisions that will produce nothing but depravation for the average person.

          a) stop driving SUVs. Turn them in for small cars.
          b) stop flying. Time to shut down their airport.
          c) double the occupancy of every house in London. Bulldoze the now empty houses and plant trees.

Here is the path the UN is using. The Federal Government is dealing directly with the Municipalities and bypassing the Provincial Governments real big revolutionary end run around Confederation. Peter Foster’s article seems to be very complimentary to what Vivian Krause told us in the that video/podcast that we listened to yesterday about how US foundational money is working toward making Canada one huge national park with only a basic infrastructure to sustain a limited population with no resource export capabilities.

    2. Excellent piece by Rex Murphy, and a delight to read. Mr. Murphy may be the last great journalist in Canada. The fact that the good journalists have all but dissappeared explains why the old media is dying fast. Compare his piece to the Laurentian-media dreck that has been published following the UCP victory.

      1. Rex’ comment that Jason Kenney will be facing principled/ competent opposition from Rachel Notley misses an important point. There is no opposition to pull the UCP to the right, only the relentless (media supported) hounding to go further left. Yes, the most important thing was that the NDP lose. We now have to consider how to keep the UCP from becoming the Liberal-lite party in the fashion that the PC party had.

    3. Rex is always a good read. “If she had flies on her they were paying rent” Classic one liners. The NDP will be in the weeds a long, long time in Alberta, she will be old and being pushed around in a wheel chair before the NDP get a shot. When Albertans throw out a party they never get back in again, read history. She always was only an accident of history. She forgot why the PC got thrown out, they had turned more Commie than Conservative. And she was stupid enough to come at Albertans with more Commie Shit, she missed the whole point. Dumber than a sack full of hammers.

        The NDP apologists said oh but Notley inherited tough economic times and a low oil price. Well look south of the border were oil production is still expanding. Albertans noticed that also and voted Notley out.

        Most Albertans can’t stand Turdeau, but Notley was the architect of her own demise. Notley knew her policies failed, she didn’t run on her record.

He paid off all that Billions in debt and gave Alberta around 40B in surpluses. Until the Progressives in the Con Party knifed him in the back. And proceeded to bankrupt Alberta again. Then we got the idiot Ukrainian Nationalist Stelmach, who was a commie, then one commie after another. Alberta needs a it’s own Constitution of the people controlling the Greasy Politicians who grow big ego’s and think they own the resources. The Nation of Alberta’s Oil belongs to Albertans not Canada. MAGA.

I’m very happy with that, but he said we need a referendum, he wants a referendum on that, they cannot decide anything. It’s Ottawa that has the power to do that and I’m telling Alberta and western Canadians that if you really want the pipelines, we’re the only party who will have the courage to us the Constitution, and yes, if necessary impress a pipeline on different provinces or First Nations.
