Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

RCMP found no evidence Jean Chretien lobbied illegally on N.S. visit: premier
The Mounties declined to confirm if Chretien was the unidentified subject of their news release.
The release said police “began an investigation which determined there was no evidence of lobbying and the investigation concluded without charges.”
McNeil told reporters at the legislature that the findings are clear.
“I went through the (police) interview and the RCMP have confirmed it,” he said.
“They went through a number of questions with me. …I have all the faith of law enforcement in the province to follow all the complaints that brought forward to them.”
“They followed this one through and confirmed no lobbying had taken place.”
Retired union activist John McCracken launched a complaint last year to the RCMP, alleging the former politician should have registered under the provincial Lobbyists Act before visiting the premier.
At the time of the March 21, 2018, meeting, Chretien was an international adviser to Sydney Harbour Investment Partners, which was seeking investor support for the Cape Breton container port project.
The day before the meeting, Chretien had attended a conference in Sydney and told reporters about his role as an international adviser to the group.
When a Cape Breton Post reporter asked Chretien how he’d market the Sydney container port to the premier, the former prime minister said he felt the premier would be in favour of a provincewide approach to container ports.
The provincial Liberal government has been cautious about the Sydney proposal, as a 2016 study prepared for the province and the federal Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency recommended against public money for a terminal that would compete against the Halifax port.
As the interview continued, Chretien was asked if the province should invest money in the container port proposal, and he replied: “I hope so.”

Is Turdeau planning to give the TMX twining to SNC?
https://www.straight.com/news/1211841/lets-not-kid-ourselves-justin-trudeau-has-been-mp-snc-lavalin-very-long-time
With the purchase of the existing pipeline, any expansion would be a federal project. This means a SNC conviction could disqualify SNC from doing the work.
Now the briberals could make an exception for SNC and award them the contract, but this might bring more attention to the SNC – briberals relationship.
I don’t know what the briberals are hiding, but the stench coming out of Ottawa and Montreal is worse than Montreal sewage. There are a lot of liberals engaged in a cover up.
What does Justin know and when did he know it.
I’d question this stratement in that article Then there’s the Trudeau government’s support for pipelines,,/i>
Turdeau’s support for pipelines is for ‘selfish’ reasons:
1) Turdeau will give First Nations a share in the pipeline.
2) Turdeau will award the contract to build AND operate the pipeline to SNC.
He buys off First Nations with a revenue stream from their ownership of the pipeline.
He provides a steady income to SNC, and hence his friends in Quebec, via the operating fees.
“hence his friends in Quebec”
Remember Chretien. He was just doing what any good MP would do for his constituents.
http://jeanchretien.libertyca.net/html/0083.html
*AND he secures a big kick-back for himself and his “foundation.”
Joe: BINGO but don’t forget about the pay back to the Trudeau Foundation, Campaign Funds for the election or BANK ACCOUNTS…just saying!!
Richard and blue turtle, thanks, you are so right.
I was so upset that I totally forgot about the Turdeau foundation. Aarrgghh!!
He should award the contract for the Energy East pipeline to SNC as well.
Quebec will only agree to a pipeline crossing Quebec if they get the majority of the revenue. Reference Churchill Falls power revenues.
I suspect that on the days after Butts testified before the justice committee and they realized that the new talking points didn’t get the desired result, the decision was made to retool the budget.
This was likely the reason there hasn’t been the usual plethora of budget leaks normally seen in an election year.
Now its all about jobs and not what they originally planned, the original plan likely was about gender, and the environment. This would also mean the members in cabinet that would baulk loudest at such a change need tobe brought on board early to ensure a smooth rollout.
But I digress.
If I have learned anything about this scandal its this, JWR does not take an action unless she still has additional ammo for later.
The strategy currently is that team sockmonkey wants to use the budget to redirect attention away from this scandal.
Ok then, what pray tell would take attention away from the budget after its tabled?
As a budget bill is a confidence motion, members of the government caucus are not allowed to vote against it.
However, what happens if they decide to abstain?
If JWR doesn’t show up for the vote, will the Sockmonkey see that as his opportunity to remove her from caucus.
Of course whether he does or doesn’t is moot at that point as all attention goes from the budget to the issue of JWR place in the caucus, whether she will be removed or not, and the reason why.
Which brings us full circle back to the question of why was she kicked out of cabinet and more importantly why she can’t speak about it.
Green electricity
A study says it would cost $80 billion to get Minnesota to 50% green electricity by 2030.
https://peckford42.wordpress.com/2019/03/14/exposing-the-real-cost-of-green-energy/
While I am not a believer in preventing CO2 emissions, I hope Minnesota politicians go down this route and spend the $80 billion. Eventually the good people of Minnesota will say enough is enough to the left and vote them out. If they don’t, well enjoy higher electricity costs, and watch your jobs go to China where they will build … more coal plants!

Woman testifies Abdirahman Abdi groped her before his arrest
Warning: This story includes details some readers may find disturbing
Laura Osman · CBC News · Posted: Mar 13, 2019 2:00 PM ET | Last Updated: March 13
Abdirahman Abdi, 37, lost vital signs during a confrontation with Ottawa police in July 2016 and died in hospital the next day. Ottawa police Const. Daniel Montsion is on trial for manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. (Abdi family)
Abdirahman Abdi grabbed a woman’s breast through her car window not long before he was violently arrested by police, an Ottawa courtroom heard Wednesday.
The woman was testifying at the trial of Ottawa police Const. Daniel Montsion, who has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon in Abdi’s death.
She was called to describe what happened before police were called on July 24, 2016, to the city’s Hintonburg neighbourhood, where Abdi was arrested.
The 37-year-old died in hospital the next day. Montsion has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
CBC cannot name the woman because of a court-ordered publication ban.
People walk past the Bridgehead coffee shop at the intersection of Wellington Street W. and Fairmont Avenue. Someone at the coffee shop made the 911 call which eventually led to Abdi’s arrest. (CBC)
‘Fight or flight mode’
The woman described how she was driving to a spa in her car with a friend around 9:30 that morning when she stopped at the corner of Fairmont and Wellington streets, next to the Bridgehead coffee shop.
A man walking through the crosswalk locked eyes with her, she said, and made a beeline for the driver’s side window.
The woman said he had an “intense stare” as he leaned into her car and asked to shake her hand.
Defence lawyer Solomon Friedman identified the man as Abdi.
The woman testified that, after a prolonged handshake, she tried to pull her hand away — but he tightened his grip and told her repeatedly that he wanted to touch her.
She said he held her hand tightly as he reached in with his other hand and grabbed her breast, squeezing repeatedly. The woman testified she went into “fight or flight mode,” pulling back her hand and driving forward.
She agreed with Montsion’s defence lawyer that it was a physical and sexual attack.
Const. Daniel Montsion arrives at the Ottawa courthouse on the second day of his trial. (Robyn Miller/CBC)
Not relevant to case, Crown argues
The woman testified she initially didn’t want to call police, but her friend convinced her to call the non-emergency line to report what happened.
The encounter, she told court, has had a lasting impact.
It took her a year-and-a-half to feel comfortable driving with her windows down, and she still won’t walk through Hintonburg on foot even though she works in the neighbourhood.
She said she’s afraid to think how the encounter would have gone if she had not been in her car.
Montsion’s defence team has made several references to Abdi sexually assaulting women before police were called.
Earlier in the trial, Crown counsel Roger Shallows told court nothing that happened before the altercation between Abdi and police should have any bearing on the criminal charges against Montsion.
But the Crown is obligated to present a fair narrative of the events leading up to Abdi’s death.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/abdirahman-abdi-groping-incident-trial-1.5054559
———————————————————————————————————————————————————–
L- “groped” or a physical assault, the fake handshake done to prevent her from being able to defend herself from the premeditated sexual assault in broad daylight, while she’s in her car stopped at a light.
“The defence … several references to the deceased sexually assaulted women before the police were called.”
Is this relevant to the trial of the police officer charged in Abdi’s death?
Was the police officer responding to a call of Abdi committing multiple sexual assaults on women?
The deceased isn’t sounding as innocent as portrayed in earlier coverage.
This sounds like it should have been covered in detail from start to finish. The closing arguments for both the Crown Prosecutor and the officer/defendent’s lawyer should be public info. along with the judge’s reasoning for whatever decision arrived at.
The facts of the case should be basic for determining coverage… oh, I forgot, it’s CBC. Ideology leads.
Does the woman who was sexually assaulted feel or or less safe now or no change, after his death?
Since the attacker is deceased, his record should be able to be released to the public, after the trial’s end.
Which is why Canadians need the right to concealed carry. A 9mm or even a .380 in his face would have warned him off, and saved his life. If that did not warn him off it would have been a good shoot. Does she still believe in MultiCult? And open borders?

L- The abuse of women under Sharia law in Iran used to get more coverage before 9/11 and the subsequent mass Hijra to North America. Is that just a co-incidence or not?
Would Iran be willing to exchange a woman from here, who wants to wear hijab for one there who does not?
A feminist Prime Minister might actually ask that question of Iran !
Abruptly cancelling the justice committee meeting yesterday is an act of injustice rendering it impossible to even put on a face of justice being served to Canadians. This is a bunch of inept boors trying to cover their asses attempting to hide the truth which would expose their game.
They cannot be allowed to get away with this behind closed doors crap they plan for the next attempt at coverup. They have the majority and no moral compass. If we don’t take to the streets on this one we are part of the problem.

While Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau is basking in the sun at that private Florida beach, the CBC reports that due to a computer glitch, the government is sending private bill collectors to old people that received overpayments from the Canada Pension Plan. They will also be sending bill collectors to low income seniors who received overpayments on the income support program. Meanwhile Groper pays out millions to terrorists and shithole countries.
Ontario John: The Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau is refreshing himself on how to STING more Canadians out of their hard earned money for his PET projects…as he wants to be the The Great Kim Sung Trudeau forever!! Canada is becoming a SH*THOLE country for sure!
More on the how dumb can they get file, Climate Barbie is out telling us how much money they will pay us back when we pay the carbon tax, in their jargon “price on carbon”. What are they doing with the money when they pay it all back?
Meanwhile back to the animal farm, Justin flies a round trip from his vacay in Florida for a meeting, no worry about carbon there…talk about hypocrisy !
Liz J: Climate Barbie will say what she has to say but with all Canadians paying a Carbon Tax (Fed), GST (Fed), Carbon Tax (Prov) then PST (Prov) plus all the taxes one does pay property tax, income tax, employment tax, enviro tax deposit you don’t get back from plastic’s recycle is a joke…Montreal and Quebec dump sewage into rivers. Vancouver, Victoria dump sewage into the Ocean Taxes on heating oils, electricity and the list goes on…it’s amazing WE CANADIANS have anything left to spend on essentials. This is eating at the Heart of Seniors Retirement Pensions. You only get a few sheckles back if you qualify!! That is the question IF YOU QUALIFY!!
Bruce Ohr Revealed Political Operatives Got The FBI To Investigate The NRA
Friday’s release of a transcript of Bruce Ohr’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee revealed several new tidbits. It also raised serious concerns that fake claims of collusion pushed by Glenn Simpson and Democratic opposition research shop Fusion GPS prompted the launch of not one, but two federal investigations: the Russia collusion investigation and investigations into the National Rifle Association (NRA).

The Biggest Higher Education Scam Isn’t Hollywood Fraud, It’s Academia Itself
For their massive investment, Americans enjoy the fruits of their left-wing radicalism incubators in the form of a generation that views socialism as better than capitalism, free speech as dangerous, and America as irredeemably racist, sexist, and bigoted. And don’t forget the brilliant academic research co-authored by felines we all underwrite.
The federal government spends $75 billion a year on higher education. Taxpayers also hold the ultimate dance card for the $1.5 trillion in outstanding student loan debt, much of which will likely not be fully repaid. For public universities, state-level funds also play a large role.

Remember how Syrian refugees were going to make such a wonderful contribution to Canadian society. The National Post reports that less than 5% of government assisted Syrian refugees have found work.
Ontario John: VOTE OUT THE LIE-BRALS IN 2019!! VOTE OUT TRUDEAU IN 2019!!
Something the left never stops to consider is how devastating not having work is for the immigrants. So much of male identity in many of these places is driven by their role in working to care for their families. 5% employment rate is shocking. Trudeau and the Liberals do not seem to care about what happens to people after they have landed in Canada. They just want to make themselves look good by “welcoming” large numbers of refugees. Provinces and communities end up paying the bill and immigrants themselves are left in a difficult situation,
Let’s split the vote…again.
Is Brian Jean coming back to lead the Freedom Conservatives?
I don’t know if this is true, but heck let’s split the centre-right vote so Nutley can get back in and finish wrecking the province.

We have lost a big chunk of what we expect in a democratic country, open and transparent government, with this Lavscam coverup. It is a coverup when they go to such lengths to prevent the truth being be told.
How can we possibly sit back and let this rot continue? The charade performed shutting down the meeting was planned, they made a mockery of the whole thing on orders from Dear Leader.
How can Liberals with credibility sit in that party as this is going on? Why are there not more bailing out of this disgusting excuse for government in this democracy which is not representative of the Canada we know or want.
They have something big to hide, the opposition parties need to walk out on them and refuse to occupy space in the HOC with them. It could be worse than Adscam.

Neil Macdonald is still on our payroll? I thought that rat was run out of town long ago.
No, he is on Trudeau’s payroll. Six hundred million will buy a lot of favours.
Kitty Kite Flyers… god that takes me back. I actually AM a cat lover and I’ve never mistreated them, however, as a kid I would quite often test the …er… robustness of their biological design. It never came up wanting, so that’s good. We used to love our cats, but would often “torment” them. We’d even say to each other, “I’m bored… wanna torment the cats?” My mother could often be heard screaming at us, “You two STOP tormenting those CATS!” I guess that’s where we got the phrase. Our favourite was to put socks over their heads and then watch them scamper all over the house. We loved those cats, but we also learned very young how insignificant their lives were… our cats were always being run over on the roads or would routinely go missing and never return. It taught me that animals are nice and all, but people have real longevity. Witnessing the lunacy of some pet owners these days is one of the primary reasons I think that humans are devolving.

And who will be monitoring the 2019 election to ensure no foreign influence? Our dear leader’s good non-partisan buddy Michael Warnick.
Wernick and his ideological buddy Soros will be keeping a close eye on this.
Someone, any citizen, in or out of government who is concerned with the fate of this country in the direction this Trudeau government is taking it should be concerned and have the right to call the RCMP and get to the bottom of this scandal.
We can’t take the chance on the Liberals getting back to power with voters who are uninformed and can fall for their snake oil tactics.

Gee, I wish I could have voted when I was 16. I would have had 2 more years to vote against PET.
“Capture kids” is exactly the right phrase. Why not 10 year olds? Or anybody of school age? This is an outrageous suggestion and the adults in Congress (if there are any) should immediately put a stop to this idea.

Readers might be surprised to learn that there are contests where children recite the numbers pi from memory.
A lady told me that her 7th grade grand-daughter recently won a contest in Edmonton where she recited 137 numbers.
http://www.ksla.com/story/35211067/shreveport-9-year-old-breaks-records-for-pi-memorization/
Pi day was on March 14, 2015. It comes once every century.

Yes, I saw that about the year 2015 and the details about every 100 years before I posted at 9:24 pm. Very interesting.
Also, I learned about the fact that pi has been tabulated to 10 trillion digits. One can find ones date of birth in the mix!
I am including ‘tau’ in the above link, or 6.28 (2 x pi) so that would mean June 28th would be ‘tau’ day.
Ultimately pi is everywhere… and is everyone’s favourite.
About your comment at 11:11— I like the story about the woman whose grand-daughter could recite pi up to 137 digits. That’s really neat.
I used to be good with phone numbers. Can still even remember some poetry that they stuffed down our throats. Of course songs, many songs too. (like the ones from HMS Pinafore!)

A National Post reporter asked officials in the Department of Defence and and in Procurement Canada some questions about the new patrol ships built by Irving. The reporter was following up on a tip about poor welding and wanted to check with the two government departments if there even was a story.
90 minutes after submitting the questions the reporter gets an email from Irving, followed by a call from the president of Irving saying there were no serious problems and threatening a lawsuit. A short time later he got a call from an Irving lawyer.
