  1. uuuugh… Ben Shapiro AND the other Weinstein?
No thanks… Both are just too tiresome.

  2. In particular, I like Ted Nugent; he calls it like it is. Ben Shapiro’s debating skills are impressive, but he called Trump “stupid” on Joe Rogan’s show. Trump’s instincts always shake out as solid. Shapiro is all verbiage – fire and fury, signifying nothing.

  3. Well, in Shapiro’s defense…his Daily Wire is owned by Dan and Farris Wilks. They were, big time, supporters of Ted Cruz (to the tune of about $15 Million). The Wilks bros. stayed out of the general election after Cruz lost the primary because, in their opinion, Trump was “insufficiently conservative.” My guess is they still don’t support Trump, and if Shapiro wants to keep The Daily Wire rolling along, he needs to placate his financiers.

Incidentally, the Wilks Bros. are playing around with the idea of buying The Blaze from Crazy Glenn Beck (he really is nutz, you know).

  4. I think both of these fellows are grossly understating what they think of the current condition / disposition of our intelligence community. (Notice how no one mentions Snowden any more,)
Weinstein fails to highlight the obvious practice of manufactured consensus as basic prima facie evidence of media bias.
Atheists who are “sympathetic” to religion are actually skeptical agnostics.

  5. These issues can be strongly addressed by radical tax governance reform. A single rate consumption tax with subsidiies for the poor should replace all other taxes.

This would cause a focus on tax rate and how to lower it. Rent seeking would become a lot more difficult. Citizens would take corruption much more personally.

It is a fantasy, of course…but a really good solution that everyone could understand. BTW, the pain of taxation would be obvious to everyone.
