1. They have been splattering quite regularly in Toronto for quite some time now. Canada’s Chicago.

2. I was in Toronto on business earlier this year. Stopped at a Pizza Pizza somewhere in Brampton on the way back to the hotel after getting out of work late one night and couldn’t believe how many gangbangers were milling about in the parking lot.

   1. I would not have got out of my car. In Ottawa we have been dealing with gang killings, swarmings (recently on a bus after Bluesfest), stabbings and disturbances at community events. I am not sure how this growing problem can be addressed — especially if political correctness prevents us from naming the problem.

   1. My wife and I have a fishing cabin along the Miramichi River in central New Brunswick. Lots of deer and other game around, but this rural. out-of-the-way place has zero violent crime. Yet the folk there complain about the new heavy-handed gun ownership rules being proposed. It seems Justin Trudeau and his Liberals — claiming to combat gun crime — are going after law-abiding rural people. The Toronto gangbangers? No so much, since they are part of the Liberal voting constituency.

         That pattern was set long ago, back in the 1960s. Bangers in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver start killing people, gun laws that only affect the rural population get tightened.

         There are two reasons for that. Reason one is MONEY. The gun control legislation doesn’t cost the government anything, and it adds money to the budget that can be distributed to “friends”. Fees, taxes, licenses etc. They look like they are Doing Something at no expense to themselves. Rural Canadians bear the cost, their complaints can be safely ignored because they never vote Liberal anyway.

         The second reason is spite. They -hate- “law-abiding rural people” with a passion that has to be seen to be believed. The opportunity to stick it to those uppity, Christian, church going squares is something they actively seek out. Rural people are the only ones who resist the Liberal policy steamroller with any consistency, and Liberals treat them as the enemy. As far as any Liberal like Justine is concerned, Farmer John is far more evil and far more dangerous than any bunch of gang-bangers in Jane/Finch.

4. I’m sure all the people who are doing the shooting will rush in to register their guns.
   Wait, don’t we already require a restricted possession and acquisition licence (RPAL) and/or an authorization to carry, or ATC (almost never given out) for hand guns?
   When criminals use a hand gun in a crime, do we ever charge them with not having either of the above?

6. Can Shiny explain how diversity would make us stronger as a nation when it is by it’s very meaning the antithesis of a cohesive society. We would have a country with the potential for warring factions just like some of the third world crap holes we are taking immigrants from, both legal and irregulars.
   An election is looming, we better look long and hard at where this Trudeau cabal is taking this country.

      – literally – NO IDEA what you’re even THINKING!, and he could openly care less.

      And besides, you won’t vote for him anyways. So he ignores your very existence, just like daddy (his “daddy of record”, the one who gave him all that money) ignored western Canada.

   1. We already know that in NY when Stop and Frisk was curtailed, there was no increase in violent crime. Even if there was, neither carding nor Stop & Frisk have a place in a civilized society.
