The hilarious part is that Damore had the same goal as Google: increasing the number of women in his industry. All of this hysteria is because he dared to suggest a different approach.

Kind’a dumb to have free tickets. Just advertise the event to be First Come/First Seated, and no suppression of turnout happens.

Growing up in a country run by communists we got more propaganda that we could handle.
The interesting thing in this is that none of us believed it, even those that absolutely had to, as a matter of self-preservation, having well paid communist jobs.
It would seem that in North America they are, in fact, as there is no doubt about it, the socialists/fascist, way ahead of the propaganda that we were subject to.
There used to be soviet communist propaganda movies on nationals socialist and fascists. In those movies those hordes behaved exactly if not more so than these idiots.

They want to tire out normal people that get up every morning to go to work to make a living. Then they can start their massive “body snatching” as it were.
Perhaps the events written in 1948 about 1984 were thought to be just slightly ahead of our time. The time though is coming faster and faster.

Could have been worse. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a toddler refusing to eat because you put pepper on their eggs and 10 being a full-blown Trigglypuff temper tantrum, this was about a 5. Of course, on the *you have to be kidding me* scale of why they’re angry, the protesters are off the scale. They’re mad that biology profs are saying women lactate and gestate babies. Even young children have figured that out. Perhaps SATs needs to be a more comprehensive test.

Whenever I see a chubby person with bad complexion, and purple/green/pink hair, I know there are a confusion of hormones flying around in there and some wimpy violence is about to erupt.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
This kind of outlandish, oafish behavior is in the leftist DNA. Nearly two decades ago I helped organize a rally when the NDP were destroying the economy of my province. They (NDP supporters, including a sitting MLA and lots of unionistas) arrived ahead of those interested in participating and hearing our speakers.
They took over all the front seats and loudly booed those attempting to address the crowd. Then members of our local Student UNION rushed the stage, unfurling a large banner accusing us of ‘fascism’ too. After security hustled them off stage, they pulled the wires from our sound system and tripped the fire alarms, forcing us to end the rally and vacate the arena.
While we were naïve in not understanding the lengths and tactics to which they would stoop, the silver lining was that the MLA, his party and all their union thugs got terrible press from it – locally, provincially and even nationally. I now have a scrapbook full of newspaper clippings I like to enjoy now and again.
BTW, at one time a suggestion was made that a substantial one-time payment be made to each of our native breathern in order to dismantle the Indian Act. The same oh so saintly NDP MLA objected, saying “They’d just P*ss it away on a pickup truck”.
