  1. Yet another awesome video that will never be seen by the people who need to see it the most.
The US has so many intelligent and articulate conservatives, I am nothing short of jealous. Why can Canada’s Conservative Party not even find one proud, outspoken, articulate conservative who will stand up and challenge the media, our #1 domestic enemy/threat? She understands the media IS the enemy and carries the arsenal of facts to effectively call out their BS. Again, we don’t need more conservative cheerleading, we need to confront the left in a forum where they MUST respond honestly.
Since leftards prove damn difficult and slippery to get before a judge and they use a compliant media to get away with all sorts of BS claims, we MUST find another way to expose these traitors.
Let me repeat myself for the umpteenth time, conservatives rule the roost in understanding and accepting reality. Since conservatives are blocked a hundred different ways from being heard by the public, putting a liberal on a stage with one would change those dynamics completely. We need to champion professional-level debates, not these phony freak-shows they put on during elections, and expose the leftist/globalist cabal and it’s glossy, deluded talking heads.
There is one point that Loesch made right near the end that I would like to challenge, though. I understand her ‘historical’ point that pop culture precedes government policy change, but the current crop of virtual signalers have used their collusion with Hollywood and their media sycophants to change that. The Dems didn’t go nuts on gay rights because ‘Darma and Greg’ was a TV hit, the show itself was created alongside the political movement to soften public opinion on homosexuality.
Ha, thanks as usual Kate for the forum to vent a little.

  2. Canadian Observer: Just an excellent post which summarizes so much of the problem in Canada and the struggle with the conservative movement.
My issue with the CPC for some time now has been the leadership demanding the voice of conservatism in the nation. Harper actively neutered the role and voice from the constituency orgs in fear of what the media would do with the ‘redneck’ messaging they thought would result. IMO that being the conclusion by HQ then it was incumbent of them to have a strategy to voice conservative thought in an effective way. They did not and have not developed that need.
It has always been my belief that conservative thought and communication cannot be limited to Party talking heads. The conservative movement must have people at street level who can explain and discuss conservative fundamentals. It is up to the Party to ensure that an ongoing education program at the riding association level provides an informed membership.
How does conservatism combat the MSM? As you accurately pointed out the Party does not have a spokesperson who can meet that challenge. Perhaps a bigger issue is a coherent platform that can explain conservative thought to ‘normal’ Canadians.

  4. That was Mad Maxime Bernier. He was trashed by the CBC, and the conservative party of Canada decided to listen to their moral and intellectual superiors at the CBC and pick someone else.

  5. “He was trashed by the CBC, and the conservative party of Canada decided to listen to their moral and intellectual superiors at the CBC and pick someone else.”
Nailed it again, Kevin. And he was trashed by self-styled conservatives on this site with, “I will never vote for anyone from Quebec”.
    So now we have….
    Andrew Scheer
    A Liberal steer
    Dressed himself in blue
    And takes a stand
    On everything
    Just like turdo la doo

  6. *
    “Townhalls for Black-on-Black Murders?”
    because you’d need a dedicated 24/7 channel
to cover them all. dumb@ss bangers would be
competing to see who could get on the most
    programs.

  7. White kids lives matter.
Black kids are best ABORTED, and if they manage to survive, then black kids lives matter as a means to collect welfare, or as drug mules, or as collateral damage in the “urban” war zone. Sorry. I know that’s harsh … but CNN appears to endorse that sentiment. As does every other “legacy” news org.
Oh. wait. here comes UnMeeToo to remind me there are … no such thing as Urban NO GO zones in the USofA. OK. right.

  8. So what’s the point? Unless CNN holds a town-hall meeting on every issue affecting American life, the issues that they choose to focus on are somehow illegitimate? I don’t get it.

  9. “Why, In Fact, Doesn’t the MSM Hold Townhalls for Black-on-Black Murders?”
Simple….. They’d be doing a “Townhall” EVERY DAY!

  10. So what’s the point? Unless CNN holds a town-hall meeting on every issue affecting American life, the issues that they choose to focus on are somehow illegitimate? I don’t get it.

  11. I gotta admit that I would watch Dana Loesch if she were narrating a cat show – but, well said. It’s up to We The People, because no-one else is going to call shenanigans on these statist creeps.

  12. By definition … a “Townhall” is a truly UNbiased crossesction of ALL citizens and ALL viewpoints. A dog and pony show, stacked to PUSH a specific agenda is … NOT … a Townhall. CNN is FREE to express their HIGHLY PARTISAN BIASED viewpoints each and every day of the year … but don’t call your BIAS a “Townhall” … don’t script questions, stack the audience, and bar opposing viewpoints (no, setting-up ONE divergent viewpoint (NRA spokeswoman) and universally BASHING her is NOT a “Townhall”). And DO NOT disrespect school children by claiming they have a monolithic gun-a-phobe attitude.
Of course this is EXACTLY how SHE operated HER “Townhalls”. The “reality TV” of a pre-scripted, pre-fab “Townhall” is a Hollywooden invention. It has NOTHING to do with the REAL reality of American opinion and LIFE. Which is exactly why SHE lost. Unlike HER lovefest (prefab) “Townhalls” … America genuinely DISliked HER. Viscerally DISliked HER. Which is why SHE never (extremely rarely) appeared in public or held truly OPEN Press Conferences.
In other words … Americans see-through this kind of made-for-TV sh*tshow. So, knock yourself out CNN … put your HATE and BIAS on full display. It just helps educate the masses … of how ROTTEN you are.

  13. Boboddy: “So what’s the point? Unless CNN holds a town-hall meeting on every issue affecting American life…”
You’re quite right, you don’t get it. When one of America’s major political broadcasters selectively and consistently chooses a left wing perspective, we call that a …. narrative.
Otherwise known as an ‘agenda’. Otherwise known as being a mouthpiece for one political party. Otherwise known as misleading through omission.
If you doubt it ask yourself: an organization denies supplying questions to children (pawns) is the same organization that supplied debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of a presidential debate.
    Should I trust them?

  14. There’s nothing to get. It’s just an idiot tribalist (Loesch) performing for other idiot tribalists. CPAC is a joke-they actually invited Sheriff Clarke and Pamella Geller to speak. Utter clownfest. The US Conservative Movement has truly entered the ‘idiot phase’. All the brains have turned to shit. Except for George Will and a few other good people.

  15. I would argue it is you and those missing similar amounts of cranial matter that have entered the “Idiot Phase”…one look to our PM shit fer brains is proof…. Well beyond reasonable doubt.

  16. Canadians don’t need another leader from Quebec.
Quebec is corrupt, I don’t care what party you are from.
    Scheer will be fine.
He is centre right from my view.
CPC do not need Red Tories.
Maxine is free to speak, he does not need to be leader to be a voice for conservatives.

  17. Canadian Observer: “I understand her ‘historical’ point that pop culture precedes government policy change, but the current crop of virtual signalers have used their collusion with Hollywood…”
Further to your point, I have always believed that Hollywood and it’s oh so brilliant cast are in large measur, responsible for many of the ills we experience today. One could never ‘link’ the mass shootings to them, but they’ve had decades to coarsen, cheapen and degrade society to a point where we are a debased caricature of our past.
My wife is watching ‘Spy’ right now with comedian Melissa McCarthy. I won’t watch her stuff because despite being funny, her work is filled with expletives that add nothing to the content. What’s the point? Why deliberately pepper a comedy with foul language? These are movies that if not targeted to youth, have a large youth audience base. Same goes for a good deal of ‘music’ produced for teens and pre-teens.
The result is a rougher, more coarse and less cohesive society than in the past. “Bullying” is apparently a big problem, but the rude and antisocial language casually used by kids in McDonalds and the mall is just something we need to accept.

  18. Steakman: I’m outa the loop on Canadian politicians (not proud of this: despair).
Your comment about Remple. Saw her tackle that Somali cabinet minister who is apparently trying to exclude warnings about babrarian practices like FGM from the official welcome booklet for imigrants.
I was very VERY impressed with her grilling of the slithery 5th columnist prick.
BUT, one always wonders if that toughness would survive the acquisition of POWER.
