they know who’s on their side. they all do. they look past my social ineptness to the inner qualities of *reciprocated* loyalty.
I am in the process of redoing my last will to leave half of it to a privately run not-for-profit animal welfare organization.
a dog has never lied to me, never bad mouthed me, stolen from me (well except for that thing involving xmas 2017 turkey left on the counter overnite LOL).
they have however, defended my castle, me, my loved ones. the fiercely loyal defensive role goes all the way back to neanderthal times.
and a huge hearty TQVVVM to Kate for her care and attention to them.
