Once again, Trump is playing chess and the Dems are playing checkers. They just keep setting these fools up and they take the bait.
With such a clear path leading back to Democratic interference this ‘story’ was either an act of desperation, Trump admin playing 4D tic tac toe or a major screw-up.
I’m trying to follow it to see how many other outlets pick up the story but haven’t seen too much yet other than the exclusive from The Hill.
I suspect the whole Donald Trump Jr./Russian lawyer thing was a Democrat setup. The same folks that paid $250,000 to Christopher Steele for fake Russian intelligence, of the nature of golden showers, likely tried to entrap Trump Junior. I suspect that in the end the Democrats will have more splainin to do than the Republicans.

I had the same thought. Either that or they hedged their bets massively and Russian collusion became their insurance policy. This meeting took place only days after Trump won the RNC.

It turns out the Dems were doing similar things and the vector of the new scandal was aided and abetted by Obama operatives… How can that be. Actually, what Obama and crowd were doing was worse? Well all the Left’s Men are now no longer talking about it. Another scandal vapourized. Oh, dear. Well there is always next week.

– there are photos of her participating in an anti-Trump march, the photos are on her own facebook page!
-photos of her sitting with people from the Obama admnistration days after she met Trump’s son
-she is known to have had contacts with many democrats and with John McCain ( a republican who hates Trump ) ( by the way McCain is currently being sued…for leaking private information to the media with the goal of hurting Trump…this is a fact not fake news),
-the firm she claimed to work for when she convinced Trump’s son to go meet her does not seem to even exist…there is no internet site for it, no traces of it…
– she has had contacts with the firm Fusion GPS which was hired by the democrats to find dirt on Trump to try and make him lose the elections
– the FBI has known for a while that Russia and Fusion GPS have worked together ( it was revealed at the congressional hearing, thus it is a FACT, not some liberal fake news )
– she sat in the first row of a congressional hearing, right behind Obama’s Ambassador to Russia…and that was only days after she met trump’s son! ( we have photos of this )

Why are we not to believe that if the Russian lawyer had implicated Clinton, that Trump Junior’s first phone call would not have been to the FBI. No such information was mentioned at the meeting so no action was necessary.

What would be illegal would be the offer of payback for information. Simply being open to finding out what the information is, no matter the source, is not unethical. Governments pass information back and forth all the time. Getting dirt on your opponent is politics.
