  1. ISIS began as al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) in 2004. Saddam had them under control, but then the U.S. invaded in 2003. al-Qaeda means ‘the Base’.
You start to see demands for a Caliphate in crowds of demonstrators after the Invasion of Iraq. Muhammadans love tradition.
Traditionally, the Caliphate rules from Bagdad. The Mujahedeen started in Afghanistan.
‘the Base’ is Saudi financed top-to-bottom. Let’s revisit this question of the Caliphate after al-Qaeda is defunct.

  2. I guess we can bring home all our troops now and let the Iraqis run their own show. ISIS has been “defeated” so many times now, they must have more lives than a cat.
Peace in the ME,in our time, and we can thank ……………..hm, our leaders? God? Allah?
Or is it just another temporary blip in the ME wars that will have no effect and we’ll continue to waste billions of these lovely people who adore and respect us so much?

  3. the “base” started about 1400 years ago, try reading a bit of Islamic history. And we could say it started even earlier than that, as much of their religious clap trap is based on the old testament. As to funding, various branches of that nonsense was funded by different folks, like sadam, bush, obungle, just to name a few.

  4. Perhaps we can just call them the Islamic Stateless?
Of course there is a bit of work to do to realize that situation.

  5. And which exact part of what I wrote needed correcting by what you wrote or suggests that I need to read more Islamic history?

  6. islam is in a perpetual state of war. we will be joining the rest of the world in the ongoing battles right here.

  7. How Islamophobic of them, getting in the way of the caliphate like that.
We must send them to sensitivity training ASAP.
