  1. Of course costs will soar. We’ve known this for years. It will be brought on by the shutdown of Pickering in 2024, leaving only greatly more expensive choices for replacement electricity supply.

  2. This will not be a problem for Ontariowians since Globull Warming will have increased the Ontariowe mean temperature to the point that home heating in Ontariowe will be redundant. Couple that with the fact that the manufacturing industry is leaving because of these high energy prices thus the lack of jobs means that Ontariowians will be living on the Wynne guaranteed living income. So people that have no jobs will find something to do with their time, something constructive to while away the hours. I wonder if the Ontariowe Liberal government has looked at Venezuela lately.

  3. Next election is in 2018. They are doing the bread and circuses routine now to get elected next year. After the 2018 election is bought the only sure thing is more Liberal lies. Toronto re-elected the Liberals in 2014. It would not surprise me if Toronto re-elects them in 2018 too. The media-party is cheering for McGuinty-Wynne.

They don’t aspire to sacrifice and work for good paying jobs so they’ll never know the pain of paying the full bill for something subsidizing others. However, the money from those that pay the Full Monty does run out but then the commies will just make’em pay more or blame them because they can’t.

  7. The liberal party of Ontario does not understand history, or current events. As they drive businesses from the province, and sell off all the remaining assets (which are the property of the citizens), tax revenues will fall, costs of borrowing and everything else will skyrocket, and unable to bribe their voting base with taxpayers dollars, they will be drawn and quartered by the very people they paid to keep them in power. And it will take decades to undo the damage and rebuild.

  15. Considering this “sustainable everything” is a tenet of UN Agenda 21, and that they could make price predictions all the way out 100 years from now if they wanted because according to UN Agenda 21 they plan on killing us with privation, it isn’t that humorous.

  24. Global warming isn’t happening, no evidence of it when we are still heating our houses into mid May and beyond. This can only mean McGuinty-Wynne’s Ontario is on target for freezing in the dark next winter. It’s a disaster of major proportions and Toronto and environs voted repeatedly, first for a liar and then for corrupt government under Wynne. We are also be carbonated…both Wynne and PC leader Brown like the carbon tax…Ontario, FUBR, totally screwed and voting for more.

  29. Even Brian Jean “believes” & his Party won’t even retro the carbon tax, if he’s elected to The Big Chair, in a year or two. That’s my 2 cents for Alberta.
    The carbon tax in any form is a Tax On Living….you know, daring to heat your home, water, food to eat, driving to meaningful work, by bus or car. .Gov in Canaduh wants you & your kids DEAD & any form of capitalism wiped from the earth. According to Suzuki “we” are just “maggots” & along with the UN Agenda 21, 2030, 2166 Whatevah the message to “us” is: “Just die!”.
    The carbon crap will only end when we become Venezuela & “we” do the French haircut to every .gov denizen. Every. Last. One. Won’t happen because by then “we” will have become wards of the USA, because they won’t sit still & watch their “border” with the Arctic become a Russian state.

  30. the majority of Canadian voters do not posses enough intelligence to vote intelligently. They cling to the old liberal ways despite the history of the liberals governing Canada is a train wreck. The destruction of Canada started under Pierre Elliot Trudeau and continues today under Justin and Kathleen. When the only people left with a decent income are civil servants and retired teachers, look out.
