Robert Abell, a co-owner of Lotus Gunworks in Jensen Beach, Florida, told ABC News today that a man entered the store five or six weeks ago and asked specific questions about high-end body armor. When employees said the store didn’t carry the body armor he wanted, Abell said, the man made a phone call in a foreign language, hung up and then asked about ammunition in bulk.

He was probably calling NRA head office.

The millions of Americans in flyover country ARE getting ready to take their country and constitution back. Yesterday’s shenanigans in congress over suspension of the constitution for people on the “no fly” list, especially in regard to “shall not be infringed” is the last straw for many. If Trump doesn’t get in in the fall, the republic will likely collapse in the ensuing months. People are serious that the US will not be islamified.

  18. Too many commenters at the link are blaming the gun shop employees for not following the guy out to get his vehicle licence plate ,or getting some ID from him on a pretense when he tried to make the purchase.
    Too many people like to play detective/James Bond when they are safe in their Mother’s basement typing on a keyboard.
    The Gun Shop did the right thing,called the FBI,who couldn’t even be bothered to send an agent out to interview them, but in the minds of some of the fantasists who seem to be ubiquitous these days, the GS employees are the ones at fault!
    I believe the federal agencies have all been Obama-washed,all seem reluctant to pursue Muslims too aggressively.I suppose it’s better to have a few people die in collateral damage than to offend a friend of the President,which describes every Muslim.
    And Liz,you’re right, the old “observe,record,report” BS seems to be exactly that .A few years ago we had a drug dealer operating on our street, he was reported,address given, description of activity.
    The woman who reported him mentioned to me that she expected a “sting” to be done by the RCMP,and the fellow would be put out of business promptly.
    No such luck. The cops interrogated her thoroughly as though she was the perpetrator, not the good citizen doing her duty,and responded by having a marked cop car drive down our street once a day for about two weeks.
    The dealer was reported several more tomes over the years, cops attended his residence when brawls broke out over there a couple of times. He openly grew marijuana plants in his back yard, and when someone reported this,they sent again,a marked car,the Officer went to the front door and knocked a few times,meanwhile the dealer ran out back as soon as he saw the cop,pulled up the dozen or so plants,and chucked them over the fence into a neighbor’s yard.
    The (female) cops said,”there’s been a report of marijuana plants in your garden”, he denied it and told her to come and look,which she did, saw no plants and left.
    Though he was reported several more times over about three years,the cops wouldn’t come to investigate again. Every single day, fancy sports cars and pretty young women would stop at his house, go inside for about two or three minutes,then emerge and drive away,about ten times a day. Sometimes you could even see one of them carrying a baggie,I assume full of tobacco?
    We finally got rid of the dealer when the house sold and the new landlord didn’t want tenants.
    “Observe,record,report”,and unless it’s a report of a guy carrying his hunting rifle to his back shed to clean it or mount a new scope,in which case we’ll send the SWAT team and the guy will be lucky to not get shot,”and we’ll take your report into consideration”.
