The problem is that the Yazidi’s aren’t Muslim, otherwise they would have been fast tracked.
Apparently there is a plan….wow, Yezidi’s represent the textbook definition of persecuted minority. That they are being ignored even raises more questions. Why would that be, does the government not care? Do they feel there aren’t enough votes, do they not understand what these people are going through (sex slavery, slaughter, systemic ethnic cleansing and abuse), or is there another reason that just continues the abuse??? That some other religons view them as Satanic and that giving them priority might offend someone.

The week after the drama queen and his party of islamic sycophants got elected, anonymous “insiders” at the Dept. of Immigration announced that they were not going to bring in these 10,500, who they said were destined to become voters for the conservative party (the Dept. of Immigration actually said that). Instead they scoured the middle east for sunni muslims to replace genuine refugees and spent millions flying them here. The Liberals, along with leftists career bureaucrats, have participated in facilitating genocide of middle east religious minorities at the behest of the muslim fifth column embedded deep within the party. The Liberals allow muslim terrorists to keep their citizenship. They contemplate the creation of blasphemy laws so muslim terrorists can shut down dissent and freedom of speech. The perfidy of the Liberals is absolutely sickening.

The Immigration Minister is incompetent,long past his best before time but that’s what we elected to government, tired old flops who don’t know when to hang it up and a bunch of inexperienced twits who are learning on the job and can be manipulated by the guys behind the curtain, the Butts brigade. We might include the front man we call Prime Minister being directed, his antics and tricks are to detract from the real issues.
They don’t HAVE to come here, but in this case, the group has private sponsors. I think that kind of thing should be supported — vs. the government chasing after perfectly safe “refugees” to try to fill their promised quota. Clearly the Liberals are playing politics and not interested in a sincere humanitarian effort. They are all about photo ops with arriving Syrians and questionable “apologies” — but not about working to ensure that Canadian groups are able to succeed in helping privately sponsored refugees if they are not Muslim. I am not sure if non-Muslims are deliberately being excluded (which seems to be the case in the States), but they are also not part of the special interest Muslim groups where Liberals secure their votes, so I think it is fair to say the government is indifferent to non-Muslim refugees.
So,why didn’t the CPC government hustle up and bring them over?

Dead on. As Margaret Thatcher noted, you can be too clever by half. There is a message for every politician here: re-election is not guaranteed, so focus your efforts on serving your Country, instead of hedging your bets for a next term that might never come. Besides, as Mike Harris showed in Ontario, you can have the press and the opposition in full howl for four years, and it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re screwed.
I think it noteworthy that it is a Jewish organization sponsoring these true refugees. Probably not the best group to have as your advocate in these bigoted Liberal times.
Which begs the question, where are the Christian organizations on this? You know, all the ones that conspired with the LPC to fast=track the infiltration of so many damn muslims into our nation.

Actually Kenji, losing in a war is one of the things that commonly does make people refugees. Not necessarily the refugees most deserving of refuge, but still, refugees.

Let them all move to Saudi Arabia … or Qatar … or … any other prosperous Muzlim State.
