Massachusetts – When a couple has a baby, there are no inspections and no questions asked unless there are reports of child abuse and/or neglect. But, according to Montigny, if that same couple is going to breed their dog or cat and have a litter of puppies or kittens (or even intends to), he wants them to get a $100 license, put it on public display and have their home inspected.

Constraining people’s freedom to have children would be so outrageous no one could seriously suggest that it should be subject to licensing by the government or other authority. But at that fundamental level, nobody “needs” to breed dogs or cats themselves and it is only reasonable for the protection of animals that there be measures of control that ensure only qualified people can do it.
Once they have that in place they can use it to argue that if we take that much care to ensure animals only come into the care of people who are properly vetted, it is only reasonable to do at least as much for children.
The bureaucracy must expand to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.

Nature abhors a vacuum.
Kitties and puppies fill the void left by ‘planned’ parenthood.

And you will get sentenced to more than 4 years,pre Gladue, for burning a cat or dog 25 times with a cigarette and then denying it medical treatment.
Soon 5 year old girls will be seeking equal rights with animals at the humane society.

In Vancouver you need a permit to replace a tree on your property. I’m not sure how they vet the owners.

I thought that already in BC pregnant couples are required to allow for home inspection and have to watch a film about shaken baby syndrome…

But they let them get pregnant first.

The ONLY breeding license that is needed … is for the lethal breeds of dogs … ex. Pitt Bulls. The unchecked breeding and cross-breeding of these dangerous weapons tends to be by people of the criminal and mentally unstable persuasion. Come to think of it, this vast underclass of breeders needs to have their own reproduction limited as it is KILLING the productive, tax-paying citizens.
No … the responsible breeding of and by quality breeds and people is NOT the problem. STOP harassing the responsible and productive citizens … you ghoulish leftists !

There is no such thing as lethal dog breeds, there are lethal and idiot owners. You get rid of pit bulls they get Dobermans, you get rid of Dobbies they get wolf hybrids, those idiots would teach their labs to be aggressive if that was all they had access to. The solution is again concealed carry and right to self-defense from both owners and their dogs, nothing else. Instead you propose that responsible pit bull owners and breathers be harassed by apparatchiks from [in]humane society. This is not a solution any more than harassment of legitimate gun owners by police and overzealous prosecutors is a solution to gun violence.

OK … then we should at least license the breeding of criminals perpetual welfare cases.
But we need NO licensing for the breeding of Dachshunds …

Of course THAT is the answer. Here in the states we actually REWARD reproduction of the underclass, by countless aid programs for dependent children and mothers (nothing for fathers). So while responsible, intelligent, hard-working families limit the number of offspring out of economic responsibility … the underclass breed huge litters of children as a Federally-funded cottage industry. The Federal government is interfering with Darwinism … and the ultimate result will be a return to the Dark Ages … where cities and homes will need walls to prevent the barbarians from murdering and stealing. BLM … is just the start. Soon, we will be UNLEASHING the police and military on this rabble as they become more and more lawless. Time to STOP this MADNESS ! And let nature take its course.
