  1. At first read, I thought it involved another El Chapo crime story..

    Anyway…
A Richmond, California, programme that pays individuals who participate as much as $9,000 annually.
    I don’t know?..
I’ve seen a few cops that responded to a crime scene and getting paid nine thousand dollars would be the least of my worries…

    • Six police officers charged for firing after chase ended
    • Suspects Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were unarmed
A night-time car chase in that ended on a schoolyard where more than 100 shots were fired at the suspect’s vehicle appeared to be over when an officer opened fire again, a prosecutor said in announcing charges against the patrolman and five police supervisors.
Patrol officer Michael Brelo stood on the hood of the suspect’s car and fired at least 15 shots through the windshield – five fatal – at the two unarmed people inside.

  2. I’m sure those dysfunctional individuals aren’t receiving any other kind of handouts from the government… so this new plan will surely work.

  3. Imagine arriving at the wrong conclusion when you start with the wrong premise. This is comparable to giving a three year old a bucket of candy for throwing a fit in Walmart. Behavior which is rewarded is repeated. And justice delayed is justice denied.

  4. What a brilliant,Einsteinian piece of out of the box thinking by Kenyan McDuffie. If Obama
had a son it would be Kenyan. The bill not only transfers wealth, but will transfer
crime from criminals to politically correct Keynesian thinking elected officials who will perpetrate their crimes on the public and the taxpayer.

  5. well shucks. wish I knew about this when I was a poverty stricken kid growing up in the 50s and early 60s.
I wonder how many of the beneficiaries will have their 9 grand stolen by those dropping out of the program.

  6. Washington D.C. is full of crinimals their stealing our money and our nation their selling us out to forgein interests and their all traitors and the worst of them is living at 1600 Pennsylvnania Ave after all many of us called it the District of Crinimals

  7. 9 grand stolen by those dropping out of the program. Ha..

    County Comptroller:
“Why are All these thousands of checks going to a Mickey Mouse and Speedy Gonzales??”

  8. Lovely … the government is acting like a protection-racket pimp. I suppose that they will eventually have to develop a sliding scale of protection payments, with the largest amounts going to the MOST VIOLENT criminals. Kinda like how the youngest, and cutest prostitutes command the highest pay.

  9. No shittt ! Just think of all the violent crime I COULD have committed ! Where’s MY FREE SHITTT ?
This reminds me of the government program(s) devised to bail-out people who defaulted on their mortgages … to the utter dismay of everyone who RESPONSIBLY paid their mortgage month-in and month-out ! Esp. those months when we barely scraped-by … but still paid our obligation.
BTW … I grew-up a poor white kid, from a broken alcoholic family. Yeah … an “invisible” demographic. Never ONCE did I believe that anyone owed me anything (except my own parents). But I also quickly realized that my parents were both broken people who were unable to complete their familial responsibilities. So it was down to me. Good grades, college (on loans, scholarships, and yes, small government grants), in a “practical” field of study … got me OUT of my economic ghetto. What would I have done if I had received a nice fat check for doing nothing ? Duh ! I would have done NOTHING. Isn’t it SAD how leftists like to “keep” (certain classes) of poor people like pets ?

  10. Great Point Kenji..
My life story is similar, although my Parents weren’t alcoholics or incapable, we were definitely “poor or very low Middle Class. Made it (barely), through High School, did some time in the military and finally ended up going to College on my own dime – long since paid BACK.
I recall a young mother in her 3rd Yr of UBC in Vancouver, who was working 2 jobs to provide for her daughter and herself that was run down by a drunk. She was blinded by the accident and accepted welfare. When she wanted to go back to school to finish her degree, was told if she did that her welfare would end. Had they let her, she would have graduated and gone off welfare all on her own.
Classic UP Yer (_i_) Socialist thinking.

  11. To receive the largesse do they have to pwomise they didn’t commit any crimes, or does it mean they simply didn’t get caught?
Protection money. The amazing part is “potential victims” are also eligible. The Dons must be smiling.

  12. Isn’t this some twisted form of extortion? Nice city you have here, it would be a shame if violence were to erupt. We want to renegotiate our agreement.
I’m starting to think anarchy might not be as bad as having elected officials.

  13. This is not money for not committing a crime – this is money for not getting caught!
Am I the only person in the world who is tired of this on going insanity? The good green earth uber alles, micro aggressions, and now this garbage?
    The stupid…it burns so bad…

  14. Kipling:
It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”
And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!
It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”
    And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.
It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
    For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —
    “We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
    No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

  15. “If Obama had a son it would be Kenyan.”
And the McDuffie part comes from the Irish side, right?

  16. It’s not exactly the same topic , but here goes . Apperantly Judge David Suzuki believes Stephen Harper belongs in jail. You see he didn’t do enough to stop climate change. This is an intrgenerational crime. For this he should be in jail. Well , based on the crimminals getting caught in a large around where I live ,he won’t be there long. Repeated breakin’s net a few days and your out breaking in again. And this is not just once or twice. By that standard he will be out in a jiffy destroying the climate again! Well maybe not him – belonging to privileged class and having actually contributed to society and all. Well David your not a judge. Your not a scientist either. What you are is a meely mouthed hypocrite. Not true ? Well row your boat or swim back from Australia. Oh ,I forgot you are special , your emissions don’t count . And you think your shit doesn’t stink . Newsflash – your farts give you away.

  17. Soon the social-justice/economic-justice tards will determine that punishment for murder is to give the perpetrator $1,000,000 so he/she won’t do it again. Upon committing the next act of murder it will go up to $2,000,000. Eventually it has to work, right?
