  1. Thought I’d share a cut of Midwest psychedelic rock from 1970. Because just as I am pulling out of my client meeting this afternoon … this fabulous tune comes on my local ALL 1970’s rock music station …

Don’t miss the start of the ethereal lead guitar at 2:10. Lots of mood changes, tempo changes, and instrumentation throughout.

      1. No problem.

I try to avoid posting citynews.ca links because they are owned by Rogers Sports & Media, a division of Rogers Communications, who are very very pro-open-immigration for many decades now.

    1. Please! The European Union bureaucracy does not like the word “immigration”; they prefer the term “improved diversity”.

    2. Another study shows that sex crimes in Eastern Europe skyrocketed after World War Eleven, caused by unregulated immigration of the Glorious Red Army.

What Ron Butler doesn’t say, is that a large number of South East Asians got mortgages using falsified CRA income statements. They bought homes, illegally subdivided them, so they could use them to house foreign “students”, “temporary” foreign workers, outright illegal immigrants, or as illegal birthing centres for pregnant foreigners who came to Canada on visitor visas to birth their anchor babies. Once their cash cows dried up, some have just fled the country with all the money they collected in rent (or birthing services) over the past several years, leaving the lenders holding the bag, on illegally modified houses, often in very bad condition.

And none of the politicians, political parties, bureaucrats or even police would do a thing against this, but instead usually threatened those who brought this to their attention!

      1. Sorry, but I am very out of it with a bad cold that has rebounded after 10 days…

I already had a doctors appointment scheduled, and if they see I have a cold (which isn’t what the appointment is for), what they have done before is: not let me in, insist I go to a pharmacy and get a “COVID vaccination” and then come back for a PCR test (even though they aren’t accurate and the last time, they gave up when I said, I should get an COVID antibody test ($75) if that’s what they thought, so they gave up.

It is clear there are financial incentives for this, since they wanted proof of getting the shot first, (I never had one and never intend on getting mRNA), and then I must get the PCR test from them (a major hospital clinic). They don’t provide the antibody tests.

Anyways, with being this “out of it”, after viewing those videos you provided, I could only think of one obscure (unfortunately rap) song…

        1. Hope you are feeling better. I’m in the Chicago area and many are fighting respiratory infections beyond Spring allergies, myself included. Relatives in the Carolinas report same.

      2. The self-righteous will call Pratts ads “negatuve” attacks but his ads are simply telling the truth. Bass is proud of her f*** up of LA or she’d have resigned and slunk away after the fires.

    1. Reliable source TMZ exposes Spencer Pratt living in $1k per night lodging. Would you live in a trailer if you could afford $1k a night hotel? https://www.tmz.com/2026/05/13/spencer-pratt-staying-at-bel-air-hotel/

  3. Alberta Judge tosses independence referendum:

An Alberta judge has struck down a petition for an independence referendum in response to a legal challenge by First Nations.

Justice Shaina Leonard of the Court of King’s Bench has issued a ruling on Wednesday that quashes a decision by the province’s chief electoral officer to approve separatist leader Mitch Sylvestre’s question on independence.

    1. Why are judges the past number of years seeing themselves as woke dictators?

Oh! I just answered my own question.

    2. I can’t bring myself to read this decision, but it’s in the nature of a motion to quash an official executive ruling, and the law of quashing is a world in itself with vast scope for woolly bullshit. There might be some pretext for it. Let’s not get too outraged against Madame Justice Quashing Machine. Though I note Pontius Pilate only ever presumed to quash his own hands. Okay, maybe I heard that wrong.

      1. And let me caution the Americans – don’t try sending in the Marines! She’ll just grant a motion to quash your Corps! Oh, this is sick humour…
