    1. Even better than that, the National Post described it as a “Pact”.

But I have a funny feeling that Carney’s various “pacts” have varying degrees of commitment. For example, I would wager a substantial bet that his recent promises to the chicomms are a lot more solid than anything he might have told Smith.

  1. Since 2015 the Lieberals have been deliberately and purposely making life worse for everyone. Sadly, the “Elbows Up!” retarded sheeple refuse to believe it.

  2. L – A Marquis d’Carnage Economique “M.O.U.” is correctly pronounced as a Memorandum of Misunderstanding, because it is written with disappearing ink. A old spy trick, he picked up as part of his new Canada/China “strategic partnership”.

His strategic policy on the B.C. Land Claim Chaos is for the federal Liberal government to neuter provincial jurisdiction on the matter. Cunning, very cunning, one day he will be awarded with an “honorary” military medal for his service to the Middle Kingdom.

  3. US exporting oil? That isn’t going to end well. The US is a net importer over and above Canadian imports. What happens when they run out? There’s that Trump playing 4D chess again.

    1. Gosh, it’s not just the US selling oil. Venezuela is increasing its oil exports, with monthly crude exports surpassing one million barrels per day for the first time since September 2025. Mexico’s specific oil sales trends in relation to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz are not detailed, but the situation has prompted countries to seek new sources of oil, which may include Mexico.

Failed class again I see, when yer that STUPID, stay away from the internet. Yes USA is the largest oil producer in the world today, and increasing production every day, plus controlling Venezuela oil out put, buying from Kanukistan, cheap cheap, so great business model. Eventually oil will become a less needed commodity , as science advances and technology reduces ‘oil’ needs, leaving oil to cover needs new tech can’t replace. Try keeping up FOOL!

    3. The USA isn’t going to run out of oil any time soon, don’t worry.

I think they hoarded most of their oil for decades when ‘peak oil’ was a thing, preferring to buy it from other countries so they would still have oil when the rest of the world ran out. Once it was revealed that there was a *lot* more oil than previously believed, that strategy became moot.

    4. “The US is a net importer over and above Canadian imports”

Only California imports outside of North America. All of the other states get theirs from the U.S. and Canada.
This Strait of Hormuz problem basically affects California, other states not so much.

  4. Albertans should have a choice to become independent this Fall if what I read is correct.
Even Albertans are way too collectivist to pull that off. Polls indicate only a 30% vote in favor.
Why the love affair with Ottawa after all these years of ripping off Alberta? What do the 70% get oout of this?
I mean it isn’t going to get better for Alberta with Communist Carney running things.
Maybe Carney brings in a few million Chinese Communists to live in Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge and Red Deer.

  5. The US exports about 10M barrels a day to the world, Canada exports about 4 m Barrels a day to the US (down about half a million from pre Venezuela coming back) You could say we supply oil to the US to be resold elsewhere at a profit, WTI Midland $104.93, WCS $89.83 (oilprice.com)

  6. Ohhhhhhh mmommmaaaaaaa … those tankers are all immoral. And are representative of an immoral leader of an immoral nation. Canada is the moral one. Because Canada is saving the planet from certain death caused by the burning of fossil fuels. Canada is fully committed to NET ZERO. Canada is saving the planet … just as their proud, noble, eco-aware, and loving indigenous peoples did.

And anyone cheering these green arrows is immoral too.

  7. Dear Canadian friends…

Yank here. Let me cut to the chase…. Your liberal parties are owned by a combo of offshore contributors. The same liberal Yanks who screwed up our DNC down here also contribute heavily to your liberal ecosystem up there. If you want to be a free Canada, not being a serf to the USA (and China too) then stop those international donors!

Second…. your CP railroad is owned, in large part, by American liberals. See where this is going? The Americans fund your liberal parties, who then get liberals elected, who then won’t allow pipelines, which then keeps CP profitable.

See how this works? IF you really wanna do “elbows up” demand that your political parties, and their NGO’s, refuse Yank and Chinese money.
