      2. Appears to be in the north east….not northwest. But that’s Global (Globule) for you.

         1. The shooting was 4 blocks east of Center Street, so it’s in the NE, some folks tend to regard this area as north central, and only after crossing Deerfoot does the area deteriorate into true NE thinking.
            My point was to post what the area city council member had to say about this.

      3. The 16 year old girl who was killed a couple days ago was murdered at the my local strip mall.
         I go there almost every day. I see ‘Calgary men’ there all the time.

      4. Trust Global to get the area wrong. I lived in Calgary for 12 years and the only good thing about the North East (not the North West) is the airport location. That area is the epicenter for SE Asians (AKA people from the Indian sub-continent). It is definitely a “less than special” area of the city.
