Making an example of Canada

During the recent election campaign, the celebrity heartthrob that is the prime minister-designate said he would “confront the bully that is Vladimir Putin” about his activities in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and the Arctic.

“I will tell him all this directly to his face.”

Russian newspaper Pravda already understands that the Prime Minister Elect’s words were just for domestic consumption:

The conservative and anti-Russian era of Stephen Harper has thus ended. The new Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, whose father was loyal to the Soviet Union, promised that Canada would return to international politics as a “compassionate and constructive” state.

They’ve got him sussed.

Trudeau’s latest moves mark considerable progress against the backdrop of the policy of his predecessor, Stephen Harper…In fact, Canada is setting an example to other countries, telling them to abandon the illegal operation of the West in Syria…

Pravda also sees good news for China, the “basic dictatorship” that Trudeau so admires:

Canada is also proactively distancing itself from Washington in the Asia-Pacific region, where an armed conflict with China is brewing in light of the artificially created islands in the South China Sea. The US intends to start air patrolling of the 12-mile zone of the islands “to ensure free flights and navigation in the areas where it is allowed by international law.” Frankly speaking, this is fraught with a direct military conflict with China.

So, Russia and China are happy with the election results. That’s a good start.

  1. Be afraid. Be very afraid for the next four years. Your job is now to shame all of those who voted liberal. Shame them for unabashedly and undeservedly taking the productive class’s money. Shame them for initiating longer healthcare lineups thanks to thousands of refugees. Shame them for wasting hundreds of millions on meaningless ‘inquiries’. Shame them for diminishing democracy with vote-buying. Shame them for putting future generations in debt. Have they no decency?

  2. Tough assignment!
It would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than make a Liberal feel shame.

  3. It is understandable that most of the North America thinks that the Russians are stupid, after all they are Slavs, not Anglo-Saxons.
The thing is that even during the communist rule, they knew exactly who the next president of the US would be. They knew just about anything you might want to know about the rest of the world, specifically about the US, the worlds governments and other such.
They did not apply the knowledge to their own population.
The communists ruled with iron fist and domestically they just got rid of those that opposed them, if they were well known in the west that would save them from disappearance, they would send them to the gulag.
Today, they know more about the current occupant of the White House, the senators and the representatives and about the candidates for the next president, then most Americans. They probably know who the next president will be. They have those that they call analysts that have been doing this for a long time and they know their business. While in the past they were somewhat constrained by ideology, they probably have a free hand to analyze whatever they want.
This is why they have no fear and consider the current occupant of the White House an irrelevant idiot.
Here thinks that that the will be (sic) prime minister of Canada is, in the eyes of the Russians nonexistent zero.
While they did not necessarily liked Harper, they understood his qualities and resolve.
They do have respect of an adversary that is a solid man.
With the part time drama teacher and a would be flower child not so much.
    Just watch.
Could be wrong, maybe wholly, don’t know.
    This is my thinking.

  4. The Russians are still very keen on friendship with Americans. There is none of the gut anti-Americanism typical for the Third World. Being very conservative by nature, the Russians prefer conservative Republicans to the enlightened Democrats, though they appreciated Roosevelt and Kennedy. They admired Reagan, and probably they will like Donald Trump even more. Mrs. Clinton is not likely to capture their hearts and minds. They would prefer to have the US as a friend and partner, though they can’t stand being bossed by the US or being told how to behave, as the Cruise Missile Democrats (in Justin Raimondo’s terms) are prone to do.

Russia and the West Have Swapped Spiritual and Cultural Roles
Listen to the audio tape and you get an idea why the Russians were deeply offended when pussy riot did there gig in the Christ-The-Saviour Cathedral.

  5. Folks need to check out Russia Today and also Sputnik International to get another view on world news, also read Paul Craig Roberts on who is really responsible for the mess in the middle east and how close we are all getting to a nuclear winter.

  6. So is the average Canada suicidally liberal or is Canada about to commit suicide through liberalism?

  7. “So, Russia and China are happy with the election results. That’s a good start.”
    Anyone else not surprised?

  8. I like that throw away line in Pravda that Pierre Trudeau was loyal to the Soviet Union.

  9. I like that throw away line in Pravda that Pierre Trudeau was loyal to the Soviet Union.

  10. Nold, Lev, Shawn, and Farmer Bill say it well. Now Putin will have two dummies in North America to continue to outfox.
Shawn, “Russia and the West Have Swapped Spiritual and Cultural Roles”. Russians are trying to get their centuries old culture back after the decimation of the Soviet years, while the west is busy trying to bury its culture.

  11. It goes like this : Harper was a wickedly evil dictator who opposed women’s right to wear nicabs as demanded by their husband folk. The man was the devil incarnate and stuff like that. I heard he might even be one of those christians. Anyway Trudeau is sexy and stuff and he promised middle class tax cuts and free childcare or something. The world is going to love Canada again!

  12. Ken, to outfox … you need a foxes not a slugs. The question is, for Putin, who is easier to f**k – Obamma or Dauphin? I suspect the answer is both. They both already have their butt checks spread.

  13. Matthew 19:26 (KJV)
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

  14. Now that you mention it. I doubt if Putin thinks that the economy will grow from the heart outwards.

  15. “It is understandable that most of the North America thinks that the Russians are stupid, after all they are Slavs, not Anglo-Saxons.”
No they are not. russians are Mongols of the Siberian variety. Most Slavs hate and despise them.

  16. Hey Lev ,
You are right, but how muchdo you want to bet that Trump is the next president?
I will take all bets right now, and when he gets in look out!!
he is not a weak loser like oboma and turdo. he will save the west. he will crush those who have free loaded off usa for decades when he does he will probably get shot thatshould be a sign to any and all freedom lovers that you are cattle you have no free vote or voice until we storm the white house and 24 susex drive with guns in hand shooting and killing we will not be free ever.
However if he reigns him and his vp will literally change the course if history.

  17. I can almost promise you that Trump is the next Prez. Immigration, as Vox says, is the only issue. EVERYTHING else revolves around it: national security, the economy, law and order.
Cruz, though, is the one that I think has the chance to dethrone Trump…. and also the one smart enough to get the VP nomination.

  18. YIP. I AM HERE IN TUCSON ARIZONA,
It is Trump Fever, everyone is armed here, the south is itching for a fight there is an unsettled score. Trump will soooothe the ill will by literally kicking in doors and hunting down the illigals .
It may sound savage to the weak and ignorant but . think of it this way if someone broke into your home would you want them to stay even if they did no harm at all ever. EVER, they just want to live there and sleep and eat and use your toilet and stove. and even offered to pay a little bit ?
So if you answer no then you know in your heart of hearts trump is right….you have no right to these lands (usa) and you must leave and if you wont do it peacefully then you will be hunted down all 30,000,000 of you while the boarder is being built by your own mexican gov, if you dont like that and you think its unfair think about the healthcare denied to americans to appease the mexicans or the amount of benifits given to anchor babies or the blatant abuse of the american system by illigals. So take your sympathy and stuff it firmly up your a$$. they deserve none of it.

  19. Maybe.
The thing to remember is that Trump has the mouthpiece and know how to use it.
Once those with more substance get to be heard they will pull ahead.
It is Carson at this time.
There will be more changes in the polls.
Right now it is more of a mania rather than serious thought.
Many may be familiar with it.
Viz the result of the federal election in Canada.
The propaganda is something certain Goebels never dreamed of.

  20. “Tough assignment!
It would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than make a Liberal feel shame.”
Okay. Now I’m confused. Just how do you shame a sociopath?

  21. I concur with Paul. I think we will see an increase in the aggressive posture of Russia , the Middle East and China in the next year because they may be running out of time. The Americans may be waking up because they have found a leader who is willing to verbalize the truth. The western way of life made possible by the free enterprise system is under attack like it has never been before.
Mr. Trump is a courageous, loud, brash, confidant , brilliant strategist who is consistently outsmarting the MSM at every turn. He can’t be bought because he is very wealthy . In my humble opinion the reason Mr. Trump wants the job is because he loves his family and his country. He can’t be intimidated because he knows he dealing with a group of individuals whose entire existence is built on lies and deceit and evil intent. I think the that any thinking person realizes how destructive the left has been to their country and their way of life as a whole . Let us hope there are enough of them to rid the country of the progressive scourge that is destroying them from the inside out.
Mr. Trump has identified in no uncertain terms what their real enemies are. Open borders , runaway government spending and outrageous regulation to control a non problem (Climate Change) are their real culprits.
We are about to repeat all their mistakes by electing the melanin challenged Obama Clone in this county.
I am not a religious person but God help us if that vile excuse for a human being Hillary Clinton is elected south of the border.
I guess the Globalists feel it is easier to tear down the Western World than to implement the practices that made our countries so successful. Many 3rd world countries should be prosperous. North America has the harshest climate conditions in the world. Many 3rd world countries have fertile land, resources, energy , great climates. Why are they still in the dark ages?
I think with the increase in awareness the citizens in these 3rd world countries want what we have. The Globalists (under the guise of the UN) would prefer to destroy our way of life rather than enable the 3rd world to improve their lot in life.
On a side note. Any Conservative should consider cancelling their subscriptions to all print media. This group has been complicit in bringing down the best Prime Minister we have had in my lifetime. It is hard to unplug from TV and internet but it is pretty painless to drop the newspaper and McLean’s magazine.
Conservatives are a force to be reckoned with because I am sure we consume a lot more news. Get them where it hurts and make them accountable. They are currently working over time blaming the Harper Team for the loss. That is like listening to Hillary Clinton blame her Ambassador Chris Stevens for being murdered in Benghazi( I heard it over and over again with my own ears straight from Hillary’s mouth.)

  22. “There is no truth in Pravda”… Nevertheless, this reads like a laundry lists of what they want to see accomplished by Turdeau. Good dog!

  23. The propaganda BS emanating from the Russian media makes our mediocracy Trudeau fly by seem like slapstick humour. We are second class compared to those guys.
Mike in Calgary. You can’t shame people who use pure emotion on political issues. Any future mishaps, no matter how directly linked to the new government’s actions, will carelessly be put upon Harper. Look what continued to happened after Obama was elected, a Bush movement appeared to compensate for his failures.
Progressive revisionists are already working diligently to rub out any positive bent to the Harper legacy. You can be sure of that, just as you can be sure that the worst things you believe about our new PM, outside of truly deranged possibilities, will come true and then some.
Yes, he will be stupid enough to legalize marijuana and cause most of our border to be subjected to more intense scrutiny; yes he will be stupid enough to bring in proportional representation and thus destabilize the political culture; yes he will be stupid enough to borrow many billions of dollars in the next four years, inevitably repayable at higher interest rates as the boomer pension and medical tsunami comes inshore; yes he will be stupid enough to go to Paris with the Premiers, primarily for personal accolades, but to promise the world we will increase taxes for Canadians because we can’t be seen warming the earth one-millionth of a degree. The fact the poorest will be run over by this rent-seeking train is, you guessed it, Harper’s fault.
That and more; mark my words. A cursory look at the Wynne and Notley regimes makes that clear; just take it from there with compounding. In doing so he will divide Canadians in ways he couldn’t dream Harper ever did, even in his economically addled thinking that believes pitting whole regions and income groups against other isn’t divisive, or that national income rises when government continually pilfers from productive economic resources to give them over to unproductive “investments.”
Governments are poor at picking winners. But losers are good at picking government. So brace yourselves.
That will be great irony of his unity by division contradiction. But he won’t care, any more than his father did, when he extracts wealth and drives productivity down further from its now alarming low levels. He’ll just assume the greater wisdom of more, more, more. Of other people’s money. They’ll do what all statists do – double down on the very factors causing failure.
Meanwhile, Canadians will migrate further and further into tax aversion syndrome. He’s hoping marijuana and carbon taxes can make up the difference. He’s wrong. No worries – he’ll just blame Harper as he always has. Nothing new here.

  24. I love that line ” Governments are poor at picking winners. But losers are good at picking government. ”
The MSM will be complicit in demonizing Harper. You can be sure of that. But when the rubber hits the road and the effects of the Liberal policies hits those individuals who thought they were voting for rainbows and a steady supply of high quality pot. Instead they signed on for a decline into lifelong energy poverty.
If you look around the world energy poverty leads to total poverty. And the insane part of this is a majority of Canadians voted to this to themselves. That has to a special kind of insanity.
But I guess as long as the Russians and Chinese are happy. Two countries that are far too savvy to sign up for the Global Warming/Climate Change Insanity.
It is reminiscent of the Western Canadian Wheat Board. The Russian and Chinese were the Wheat Boards biggest fans. It’s a good thing Mr. Harper reversed the long gun registry otherwise that worm PM Water Hole( trou d’eau pronounced exactly like trudeau) might be tempted to shackle Western Canadian farmers once more.
Remember boycott print media. Don’t give them one red cent.
