According to Ammoland, Canada In The Rough “ran on Global TV for eight years until the day Keith Beasley received a telephone call from a Global network executive telling him that the network would no longer sell him airtime for Canada in the Rough.”
And Keith Beasley claims the reason behind the cancellation is simple: “Canada in the Rough shows hunting and firearms ownership in a positive light.”

Welcome to Canerder eh!
What’s a TV channel?
Check it out people – this is the spearhead of the culture war raging in our nation. Agents of autoritarian statism (Prog fascism) have inserted themselves or their influence into decision-making positions in both government administrative and corporate administrative functions. They use it to forward the statist agenda regardless of demand or vox populi. Yet we sleep(those increasing oppressed by prog tyranny), or we do nothing because we don’t hunt or some other detachment justification for not head-on confronting these entrenched fascist creeps.
This is a commercial enterprise making cultural fascist decisions in abeyance of client push-back – FISCALLY CRIPPLE THE BASXXXTARDS!!! They run on money you foolishly continue to give them – take time to tell them you no longer support the network or their stinking culture Marxist sponsors. Then boycott the sponsors of this creepy cultural fascism!!
I cancelled my cable a year ago. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
First they took our Free Speech, then they took our guns, then they took our money, then………..
I used to enjoy the hunting and fishing shows on U.S. TV, but my cable provider doesn’t offer any channels that have them, anymore. I’m surprised Canada I.T.R. lasted this long.
I don’t remember the name of the show, but one that featured the old Miami dolphin R/B Larry Csonka was a particular favotite, saw him hunt Alaskan moose that made ours look like deer.
Hunting is a dying culture in Canada, we probably have 20 years at most, depending on the core beliefs of the members of the Federal government, before hunting and guns are squeezed out of existence by regulation.
Elect Mulcair this Fall, and it’ll happen a lot more quickly, maybe within one term.
I used to watch Canada in the rough every weekend on the Sun News Network. The brothers did not only showcase hunting in Canada, but also some of the most beautiful areas of our Country. Global used to be less biased than ctv or cbc, but I tubed them as well when they became a willing participant in the media cartel.

Yup, I had cable for about 4 years over the last 25, cancelled it about 8 years ago after the 4 year “try-out”.
If you averaged $100.00/ month x 12 months = $1200.00/ year for shit & propaganda.
20 years x $1,200.00 = $24,000.00 + a healthier mind = invaluable.
Isn’t this story…. like…. 3 yrs old now?!?!?

I find that Brietbart really pushes a hardcore conservative agenda and is thus generally a very poor and biased news aggregator. Really, what purpose does selling this ancient Canadian story as new news to Americans serve other than to stoke the fires of it’s followers and keep readership up?(Certainly seemed to have worked here, hmmm?) Ha, during the “gay cake crisis” their site gave the impression armed soldiers in jackboots were marching on churches across the free world. That said, I know of ZERO unpartisan news sources anywhere these days, I don’t believe one exists anywhere anymore(talk about an untapped market).
I do believe, though, that Brietbart are free to sell whatever message they want since they aren’t doing it with taxpayer money like the scumsuckers at the CBC do.
TV sucks CTV CBC Global (am I missing any) all terrible and unwatchable?
“Then boycott the sponsors of this creepy cultural fascism!!”
Exactly. And let the sponsors know why you’re doing it.
Who watches TV?
It is a dying culture, hunters are being outnumbered by d!ckheads with rifles who haven’t learned how get out of their truck before taking a shot. These are the jerks showing up more and more every year, and there is no hunting show that will deter them from doing it.
In my 30 years of hunting, I think I have watched 2 hours of hunting movies. Great if people love it, I have just never appreciated them. Boring.

the truth is, firearms are the low-hanging fruit on the tree of liberty. the rcmp gun grab in high river is a bright, shining example of government malfeasance. unfortunately. only firearms owners and libertarians care enough to squawk.
but there’s more…
“Don’t take my word for it. Walk up to any cop and ask them if they’d be more worried about facing a nutjob with a .22 calibre Blaze 47 or virtually ANY non-prohibited, commercially available 30 calibre deer rifle that can currently be bought at Canadian Tire.”
think about the precedent here. if “things” can be banned because some bureaucrat doesn’t like their appearance, we are truly f@cked.
